You aren't saying trent is a good defender are you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he is saying that he is similar to Weghorst in that he is not a good striker but he offers other things that players who maybe are good strikers, don't offer.
See id have 2 different teams, one where i think the best players ive seen in the league so Suarez for example and Alisson would get in. The other where it counts longevity in the league and success which would favour those in more successful teams than individual talent.

Weird that a defender who 'can't defend' has been pretty much the first name on the team sheet in a side who have won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, European Super Cup and World Club Cup.
What else would you like him to achieve?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So was Paulo Ferreira.
At 2 different clubs.

----
How many 0-7's was he on the end of last season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure what that has to do with anything what so ever.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xAFR9xyZLo
doubt many useless defenders have pocketed players like sane and neymar at 18.
PRetty daft statement.
Mmm, an all time best PL team. And no United player?
Some mistake.
Oh hang on it's Wahl. So it doesn't count.

So you're saying he's a good defender?
Ashley Cole was very good but he's getting better in imaginations every year.
Trent thing again, a lot of its down to his appetite to defend not being anywhere near his appetite to attack and also the role he plays in the system doesn't do him any favours from a defensive view point. Is he a good defender? no is he a bad defender no, can he defend? yes proved it on many many many occasions especially early days when his role was a lot more disciplined role esp vs the big teams and he has the hunger to impress prob put more effort in defensively etc. Doesnt do it consistently enough quite the opposite really but again quite a lot of this is positionally it'd be a lot harder for every RB to play his role and be expected to do the same defensive job as a RB with 3 cbs behind him etc and 20 yards deeper for a starting position.

On course to break Giggs assist record by the time he's 28.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Talented boy no doubt, but a useless defender so to say he’s the greatest RB in the premier league is a joke.
I’d have laughed less if you put Wes brown there
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course you would. You’re a United fan and therefore an idiot.
The best fullback at United I've seen was Dennis Irwin. I find it impossible to say if he was better than some others.

Mourinho, Guardiola would be my second choice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, regarding the incarnation of Mourinho taking charge of this all-time XI: will this be the 2005-11 prime Mourinho, before his brand of football had been made redundant by the evolution of tactics, or are we talking about the version who failed at United and Spurs, and couldn't get into the CL at Roma despite heavy financial support and Juve's points deduction?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be precise I'd say it would be the version of Mourinho that battered Sir Alex Ferguson 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to seal back to back titles in 2006. My second choice would be the Mourinho of 2013 who scared Sir Alex Ferguson into retiring when he realised Mourinho was returning to the Premier League.
