Incredible players. We've had such a strange blend of quality over the last 5 years or so with a handful of players carrying the rest of very average or even poor players.

Two of which are above.
Azpi, Kante, Silva amongst others stood above the rest of the dross (werner, havertz, bakayoko etc)

Azpi will go down as one of Chelsea’s greatest ever players.

Azplicueta was a good player and an even better guy.

Maybe not the very top level but just behind it backed up with heart of the top level.

Azpi won everything with us and was excellent for most of it as well as being a top professional. I have no problem with him being recognised as one of Chelsea's best ever in his position.

chelsea tax. I would have him in with a shout, but i'd also have ivanovic in there too.

And defending is just one end of the game. Same reason as trent cant be considered.

Think admin needs to do what other forums do. New users need to do 100 post on like a welcome article before they get to post their nonsense across the site

Most likely the league. he gets downplayed due to his last few years but I remember Carragher always waxing lyrical about how good he was defensively.

He is good and a legend but the problem is when new legends come along people can forget older ones, even recent older ones like Paulo Ferreira, Dan Petrescu, Albert Ferrer, Steve Clarke and Ivanovich, who has been mentioned I believe. It's hard to pick one out of that list, o ly one can compare length of service wise but I'd be hard pushed on other factors, even things won.
