Apparently Partey may stay now

Havertz, Rice and Timber would be a good window and Arsenal are on course for the most impressive window of the big sides at the moment but a long time to go.

200m spent on inflated fees but that's kinda par for the course now.

Much depends on how he's planning to use Havertz because he was a let down for Chelsea and nobody seems to know what position he plays.

Could make it better if Arteta then gets to spend any money he brings in after those three. If you sell Tierney you will need a LB and the striking position may be an issue.

Most would be tempted to keep Balogun to see if he can be the main number 9 because Jesus is good but he's a backup really if you want to win the title.

Which means selling Nketiah for a decent fee, which is probably tougher but by no means impossible.

I personally would keep Xhaka over Partey.

I hope Balogun stays and get a chance to shine but he is reluctant to sign a new deal !

Holding will go approx £8m. Tierney will go approx £35m (That buys us Timber).

Pepe needs to be sold for decent amount too.

I'm pretty sure Xhaka wants to go though so there's no point in keeping a player that doesn't want to be there. I haven't heard Partey wants to leave.

Xhaka wanted a longer contract that Arteta was not prepared to offer. He had one season left.

Partey has two seasons left and Arsenal have again decided not offer him a new contract and so are looking to sell.

We still Lavia if Xhaka leaves and we get Rice. In this scenario, we also keep Partey.
Elneny should also leave between.

Havertz has replaced Xhaka. And Rice will replace Partey.

No.8 (right) - Odegaard, ESR

Midfield Holding - Rice, Partey (or Lavia), Jorginho

Rice/Partey + Lavia

Depends on the outgoings as to whether I'd be happy with just signing them three.

I'd like to see Balogun stay, but I believe he's refusing a new contract. Will need to see a massive improvement from Eddie off the bench next season, or we may regret not buying another striker.

You do realise we can only register 25 players.

If we just end up with those 3 players, it would have been a really positive window for me, it shows progress.
I can't see us getting another striker personally.

If we keep Partey and sign those 3 it’ll be a great window. We’ve strengthened and got rid of players who aren’t gonna do it anymore. Balo if he impresses should become our main no 9. But doubt he’ll stay

The key signing is actually Havertz in midfield. One of our biggest deficiencies has been a lack of height in the striking position. However now we can use Havertz and Saka as out balls and use our smaller strikers to press.

We have been linked to Moussa Diaby, and he would offer the ultra pace option we have always had with Theo, Henry in the past. If I was greedy, I wouldn't mind signing him if we sell one of Balogun or Eddie.

After nearly 23 odd years or so, first time we have shown this kind of ambition ! such a great change...well done to club and owners.

We have to keep 1 at least

If we do not get proper cover or competition for Saka on the right wing, in my view we will be at risk next season.
