Id like a centre half next. To be honest id be happy with that but if another midfielder came in them all the better.

I think with trent showing he can play midfield (if required) and jones really showing he is a legitmate 1st team option now im not overly fussed about a 3rd midfielder joining.

If we dont buy another centre half I think we leave ourselves open with the injury records of matip konate and gomez.

Promising window so far.

Thuram and Van de Ven and then I think that’s more than we could have expected given missing out on the CL. That would put us in a very strong position to get back in there….

Of course they did and always will considering the position he's asked to play, which in the past was high up the pitch wide, getting crosses into the box and recently has been in the centre creating havoc with his passing. The positives should far outweigh the negatives, when you're the better team, which wasn't the case last season in multiple games for various reasons, including the midfield not doing their job.

i agree that the window is positive thus far. plus we do need another mf and i reckon in the dm role specifically.
thuram is rather unknown to me but generally our previous signings have been unfamiliar and turned out well. however i do like the lad from Southampton, Romeo Lavia. could really be good with prem experience and Fabinho to learn from
