Not sure where you got this from but looking at his stats he mostly played in the centre. Left second most and then right, although most of his games last season were on the right, he barely played there before then. He's a versatile player.
He’s a right sided midfield player.
Salah is right sided forward, plenty of room for both of them in the team.
Yeah for Salah when his time is up we will need an actual right forward but at least he can cover when Mo goes to AFCON
can't prejudge from other leagues or shirt numbers.

the prem is an entirely different challenge for the lad and we should be a bit patient here.

A gut feeling
He can play anywhere across that attacking midfield line.
I think he is actually at his best cutting in from left side.
Has good vision, likes a pop at goal. I think he is better when cutting inside opening the pitch up for himself
