Well, one of them is likely to be Onana and the other won't exactly have to be a difficult or big-money signing.
We definitely need a striker, probably a CB to cover Varane and I'd say a DM to cover for Casemiro. The striker is a must though.
If Man Utd had Arsenal shot to goal ratio last season in the premierleague, Man Utd would have finished last season on 103 goals instead of 58 goals.
That would require Utd to be Arsenal though.
Also Man Utd created significiantly more big chances than Arsenal last season so it wasn't just hard chances being missed.
Martin Ødegaard created 14 big chances which was the most by an Arsenal player while Bruno Fernandes created 32 big chances which was the most by a Man Utd player and the most in the league.
Fernandes 8 league assists vs the 17.27 that was expected and if Fernandes had world class players like Kane to assist to then he may have had like 24 assists instead of the 8 league assists he got last season.

In fact wrote a post a while ago suggesting just that.
ETH is a top manager, and can only improve listening to the advice of one of ja606s canniest posters. Ahem.
For rival fans this is def the best transfer window united have had for some time. I get the impression TH is way down his list of targets with the players united are talking to. Chelsea and Liverpool find some half decent fork and I think it's gonna be a long season for united next season.
Timing of the sale has screwed united hard but they are guilty of wasting insane sums the last few years so I guess they are kinda authors of their own misfortune.
Few talk about the atmosphere behind the scenes if maguire, sancho etc all get bombed out the team but stuck in the squad, as no one else wants their wages. I can see this being a huge headache for united.
Whilst points totals can fluctuate between seasons I don't think it's unreasonable to expect at least two points per game on average. We've only done it once since SAF though! The away performances definitely need to improve to help us do that and we need to maintain the strong home form.
It would be great if we could kick on from here though and improve on a decent start for Ten Hag. Top 4 could be quite the battle next season however.
