Daniel Farke is really impressing me how he’s dealing with this sh!t storm left by those two chancers. They are indeed criminals imho.
I'm already a huge fan of Farke. No whining.
Just gets on with it. Professional. He'll need time.
And I hope our fan base gives him that time.
49ers 4 year contract says they realize it which
is very good. This will be a very slow start to our season.
Convinced our team what look like Farke's
team until the end of the window in September.
As for the criminal tw 4 ts (and yes, you were right
all along on both), they can fck off and fester in
the nearest cess pit. Fcking loathe both of them.
Btw, as DF says, we’ll have to wait until the end of August before we know for sure which players are with us for the season (or until January window at least).
We’ll have played 4 league games before the end of August and an EFL cup game.
Agree Batty, we gonna need time to get this mess sorted.
And this is why you really have to scrutinise what owners are doing.
I've said with every owner since bates and its same every time, everyone gives them benefit of doubt, says you're being negative to question them, every time we get royally scr ewed over, its worse each time.
So much for all the signings lined up and ready to go.
I think when the 49ers stated they had a plan for either remaining in the Prem or relegation to Championship, they were either lying or incompetent.

Precisely why a good start is so important.
If it starts looking like another relegation battle, any quality we have left will want out & nobody decent will want to come.
So what's that new sporting director doing then? Playing solitaire on the PC?
There no chance it will be a relegation battle, dont think people realise how bad finances are in the Champ.
We should literally walk it, along with leicester and saints, the gap in finances are that big.
Only reason we dont up, is because of ownership.
Am still really confident, just think the gap is thag big at this time.
And i have put my money where my mouth is 👀🤦
Was thinking back to the Badge debacle. Honestly, who at the club thought, this is a good idea

In my opinion we've no chance of going up.
We should literally walk it
^^^
Based on what exactly?
A feeling you have?
We could potentially walk into the top 6
if everything goes right. But, we are so far
behind right now. And who's your starting
line-up? Who's your keeper? #9?
Leicester fans can get excited about possibly
walking it. Southampton too. Us? No chance.
Not out the gate.
Watched alot of champ last season. Load of dross, two teams in play off final, were terrible sides, so low on quality.
Nobody spending any money, other teams signings, mostly dross.
Players who have gone bar Rodrigo, probably wouldnt got in side anyway.
Big problem, got no money in for them, so will likely have to sell a couple of players.
Defensively, look good bar left back.
Need two midfielders, 3 if Adam has to be scarificed.
wingers
James
Sinni
willy
harrison
sommervile.
they would walk in every other team, and surely at least two will stay.
Need a striker, deffo.
Like I say am confident, we’ll sign some good players.
Yes after hearing that interview it does rather deflate my earlier optimism over our immediate promotion chances and if I've understood it correctly we can't get players in until August but I'm sure Farke wouldn't have taken the job if he didn't know the restrictions he had and believed he could be successful with us but admittedly not the scenario I or any of us wanted or expected.... Never ever easy is it for us?
Not to dampen your spirits but
these three wingers will leave:
willy
harrison
sommervile
Nobody spending any money, other teams signings, mostly dross.
Mostly dross according to you. Football people
deemed a few of them very good signings.
Trouble is, we're treading water in a division that
is tough to get out of. Until EFL rubber stamps
the 49ers takeover, we're stood still.
Much, if not most, of what has been said above is true but one thing no one can do is attach any blame to Farke for the current feeling of chaos. In fact, he can only be applauding for being prepared to step into the fire when he must have had other offers. I like his demeanour and, unlike Macca, I felt strangely reassured that the guy seems confident he can pull this off.
When we **** it up, we really **** it up.
It's absolute chaos at the moment.
Reminding me a bit of 2004, though the finances are better this time & we have a proper manager.
Hopefully Farke comments on loans will stop people trying to justify why is loaning out these players is good business for us.
Yes fair point Lorra about DF's demeanour and he definitely has the pedigree to get us promoted this season but unless he's underplaying stuff regarding the non arrival of new signings and secretly has six or seven of them all lined up ready to sign on the dotted line shortly before Cardiff af home, I think the squad we have available and likely to be playing the first 4 games before new signings arrive will do well to get 3 or 4 points.
A slow start is not disastrous and plenty of sides have done so many times before and got promoted but ideally it would be nice to hit the ground running.
Farke is definitely the best man for the job and let's hope like Bielsa in his first season he surprises us all with the positive impact he has on the team and our concerns and low expectations about certain players are not realised.
Strange the way people always have a go when they have no idea!..
If it goes as people say than I'll have a go, but saying we have backers without money is weird, Leeds is rated as one off the richest clubs going at present!..
And deals not being done, Farke took the job on, and I think he's been working in the background even before he came to Elland Road, so it could be there are deals lined up but the people involved know the state off play!..
IE, when its allowed there'll be an influx of players popping in from everywhere!..
I know, I'm talking out off my ass again, but better seeing things the way I am than doing myself in because someone else isn't giving people a chance to do what they're after doing!..
The biggest mistake AR did was letting Orta have to much off his way, but its Orta's way that has left us where we now are, and that alone will take some sorting!..
I'll reiterate, I really like Farke. Very happy he signed
on to this. I just hope (as we all do, him included), that
the 49ers Ent have the funds and desire to back him
all the way. If not, this'll be a long season.
"Leeds is rated as one off the richest clubs going at present!.."
By whom exactly?
Agree with Germany. Turbulence is to be expected at this point. Looks like we were clueless going into an ownership transition complicated by relegation. Orta's legacy will take some undoing.
And for those of us hoping for some signs of competence in management, it's not looking good so far - although they have at least appointed a qualified, experienced head coach with whom the fans are more or less happy.
It's all a bit of a headfug.
Listened to DF's post match interview.
On the positive side I admire his honesty and pragmatism and his acceptance of the realities of where we are right now.
He's not directly layng blame, but it was really sobering to hear his thoughts on loans, how they equate to lack of funds as well as the chilling 'this should never be allowed to happen again'. - This in particular speaks volumes.
It would appear that we are in an almost identical situation to his first stint at Norwich, so I'm not sure top six is going to be easy by any means.
To finish again on a positive note, it is clear DF is going to do a Bielsa and get this team fit, first and foremost!
'Hardwork' is clearly DF's favourite word.
Not defending anyone, I too had a serious mistrust of Radrizzani from the onset but I seriously think it's the only way that Orta could get some of the signatures over the line, especially the ones from last year.
We no longer had the talisman that was Bielsa and were looking at potentially a season of struggle based on the previous season's failings. So contracts were drawn up that allowed players as much flexibility of movement as possible should the worst happen.
They did what they had to do.
