What announcement - the one today or the one about an owners update in early June?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
…..the announcement by EFL 4 days ago about no takeovers are to be announced prior to elf approval.

But there’s zero chance of any ‘fallout from EFL’, because the rules were only approved after the 49ers announcement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is not correct.

The rules were approved at EFL AGM in June, before the 49ers announcement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you’re looking for a potential negative despite the minimal likelihood of an occurrence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you’re misunderstanding what “hopefully no fallout” means.

It means one doesn’t want it to happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah fine….there’s lot in life that one doesn’t want to happen….. but most people don’t go around saying “hopefully I don’t get hit by a bus today”, and said it yesterday, and the day before… 🤷‍♂️
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you're right, people dont go around saying that, so really not sure what your point is.

Its a football forum, we go over the same topics each day, so you'll get people making similar comments each day, it's called consistency.

Don't really understand why you can't just discuss the topic of a thread, without always trying to have a personal dig.

I’m just trying to understand why you continually raised a point, several times, which was extremely unlikely?
Not sure anyone wants to discuss topics which just don’t exist, yet you continued to raise it. Just seems weird.

AR thought relegation was extremely unlikely, does that mean we weren't allowed to discuss it?

On one hand everyone thinks EFL out to get us, but heaven forbid I should mention there is a chance of some sanctions, but I hope they don't happen, you start to have a personal dig.

There's clearly an agenda from some, yourself included to do this, whatever I might say, it just ends up ruining the forum.

How many times. How many people. Does it take for you to grate on someone before you realise you’re grating?

Have some humility and stop blaming everyone else.

It’s not everyone else ‘ruining the forum’

It's ironic but you are all individually great contributors to this forum but I find the squabbling gratuitous at best.

I"m too busy dreaming of a promising future for our club - very encouraging last 24 hours.

You’re right.
It is petty squabbling.
Human nature I suppose, everyone looking at things in their own way, and also reacting to stuff they see and hear in their own way.
Some seem overly negative, which creates a response, and some are over-positive, which also creates a response.
Don’t mean to say though that you have to agree with everyone and everything they say.

Suspect most conflicts occur on subjects where we don’t have enough info. We’re all guessing. So it’s interesting that AR said in his interview which I just posted, that fans don’t know everything that’s going on, and that they don’t necessarily need to know either. Not saying he’s right or wrong but all of us perhaps need to reflect on how quickly we jump on stuff/people. Perhaps, especially right now, we need to learn a bit of patience. It’ll be impossible to fix all the things we think need fixing as fast as we want them fixed, so we do need to throw them some slack.
