Good interview he comes across well
He obviously knows the key things he needs to mention to get the fans on side and I tend to take these things with a pinch of salt… but have to say he came across really well. Smart, engaging, passionate, likeable.
Good start… let’s hope he backs it up,
Blah blah blah Tyler Adams' shirt blah blah.
Enough chit chat. Keep Tyler for another season. That would be a real statement.
Excellent insight into our new chairman. I thought the interviewer asked all the right questions and PM came across very well and I feel that Leeds is as I had hoped I would feel in very good hands and I don't think we can ask for anything more in regards to new owners who are passionate and committed to not only getting us quickly out of the Championship but taking us to a much higher level in the Premier league.
Yes I was very impressed and what stood out the most was although he has been involved with the club for nearly 5 years he was only in his words, "a passenger on the bus taking notes and had to bite his lip at times".... So let's try and forget the past couple of distrastous seasons and here's to a far greater future ahead of us. MOT.
Yep, good interview. Thanks for posting. It doesn't answer the question how we ended up in this position (no plan in the event of relegation), but it's probably all we're going to get. The reach-out to us fans is very much appreciated and we move on from here.
Just watched this on the Leeds website!..
I like the guy, he talked well before he took charge, so its up to him to now back his words!..
I like and agree with what he says about Farke, getting Norwich up but was let down with backing in the Premier league!..
If this is anything to go by, than Farke has a roll to play that'll if he succeeds, he'll be backed in the Premiership, the way it should be!..
That was a very reassuring performance from our new chairman, and the Farke appointment suggests he can walk the walk too. Marathe has that same quality that he identified in Farke - inspiring the confidence of others.
Really hope he can persuade his fellow American, Tyler Adams, to stick with us.
In any case, TFFT, a million times! And yes, thanks for posting.
Should ease some people’s nerves
^^^
Yep. Well happy.
Thanks for posting this link.
Just to add that after listening to the link that LIW very kindly posted.. thanks for that mate 👍 I feel quietly confident now without jinxing anything that Farke's barmy army will let's just say do very well this season and I'll be surprised now if Tyler Adams leaves as I imagine he would be equally impressed with the new owners vision for the club and I hope Gnonto, Wober and Sinisterra feel likewise... not too fussed about the rest.
The £50 I put on at 7/1 looks good value 🤌
Must admit my faith wavered in the last few days ( thanks rad and orta, you absolute bellends for the stupid loan deal)
But always been confident, we will go close.
I'll be surprised now if Tyler Adams leaves as I imagine he would be equally impressed with the new owners vision for the club and I hope Gnonto, Wober and Sinisterra feel likewise
^^^
Agree with that. Won't need that many additions if so.
The £50 I put on at 7/1 looks good value 🤌

Smart man.
Love this quote:
"We're going to give Daniel the deck of cards he needs to be successful (now and in the Prem)."
If that doesn't make you giddy (me included) what will?
Its been said a few times that Wober is after staying, and with Adams, Gnonto and Sinisterra I'll be even happier if Harrison stays as well!..
So Harrison, you must know what the 49ers think off you, I mean they paid Orta or whoever to keep you here!..
Had the same bet this morning Wakey also had us in a treble to win the Boat race and grand national as well,
Do think we will have to sacrifice a couple of players due to these stupid loan clauses.
Meisler, sommerville and Harrison, is who i would.

Can any of our players even ride a horse? Mind you, I think we’d do well in the boat race…
Good listen. Comes across well and I sense there's real determination behind the words to move the club forward. Concedes mistakes will be made, lets hope there's tolerance when they invariably happen.
Jeez please give us a good owner, we've had enough of the chancers & crackpots.
Ok, some thoughts on this.
Firstly Paraag comes across really well, would expect nothing less from an American, but there was clearly some thought given to what was on fan's minds and of course the questions will have all been agreed beforehand.
Was surprised, or in fact maybe not surprised to hear that there had been no planning for relegation.
Also surprised to hear that there were dozens of managerial interviews, it would be interesting to hear at some point how high up that list Farke was to start with.
Great points re his 23 year journey and how he didn't fit in and had to prove himself, that gave me a lot more confidence in him.
I liked his point about hiring best people and letting them get on with it.
He'd made comment about being a passenger on teh bus the last 5 years, then podcaster made comment about how hard must it have been biting his lip. Parag hadn't actually said that, so it was clearly a set up question to give Paraag a chance to say things were done wrongly before but that he couldn't do anything.
I felt that was a bit set up to be honest.
Very interesting that the focus is on Yorkshire and UK first, I completely agree with this and his comments about fans in London, again, really inspired confidence.
Also, really liked what he was looking for in a coach, completely relate to that when I hire coaches as well.
Said the right things about Elland Road.
Interesting to mention women's team. Women's sport is growing massively, I wonder if this is actually a bigger than factor in purchase of Leeds than we might have given credit for.
AR (James Mooney) never granted interviews to BBC, I'd love to see 49ers change that.
Overall, really hit the spot.
Well done Paraag and let's hope it goes well.

Your question about how we ended up here….. AR interview on Skysports here, basically saying it happened because he gave Orta too much power…….
Oh really?!! Finally woke up and smelt the coffee…. far far too late.

At least he said he had to take same responsibility as Orta.
But, it's quite incredible how every man and his dog, except a few ja0606ers who thought Orta was great, could see the issues, the continual poor signings and yet those closest to it, just couldn't see it, or really engage with the fans the right way.
They they allowed Orta to smash up the monitor, shout and scream at fans and not sense that maybe the fans needed listening to, shows how poor AR was in the role ultimately.

I guess they really couldn't say anything until the takeover was completed and approved by the EFL.
Very impressive interview, anyone listening must be happier about the new owners.
just hope the fans give the board and the manager time to attain our goal.
