Not a lot of substance there, but then that isn't necessarily the point.
I've always called for engagement and transparency and this is it, some honesty about not making rash promises, some clarity about ER needing work but not right away, just enough being said to give confidence without painting himself into a corner.
Can't ask for more at this point.
whilst its nice to hear an owner promising transparency, I'm not sure I'm that bothered. I mean, sometimes you can know too much right?
you see it on other team forums too, (United pages especially) - its no coincidence the people who demand to know exactly what an owner has for breakfast seem to be the fans who appear really negative over football issues to.
begs the question, do you prefer football or politics?
ignorance is bliss for me, and its the way I like it - whatever happens on match day, or a new signing, or an interview from a player who's scored a sensational goal, is the be all and end all for sport for me. we see it all the time, "Radz tired to change the badge, but didn't, this that and the other" thats not football, its politics, its also extremely boring and I can only imagine the stress it would cause, seems really strange.

I think thats what I mean btw VOF, the bantz and enjoyment and the pleasure you get from say watching some highlights when you;ve won 3 - 0, far outways sat there rattled because Radz tried to change the badge back in 1935, or our owners have once said we won;t get relegated, then we get relegated, I mean, no ones a magician are they? - I'm sure any person of power or vast finance gets stuff wrong.
thinking back, to CL semi final. would we have reaaallly wanted to know that Ridsdale was about to go pop? - would that of totally ripped the fun out of that CL run we had? - yes for me, enjoy the ride, jobs a gooden
