Surely the Saudi league might be if interest to some? The like of Elneny, Cedric, Pepe and Runar should try to move there.

Encouraging to see rumours about Pepe leaving increasing. Azeez to Barca was a headline I didn’t bother clicking on today.

Beyond they though, not a heck of a lot of links away floating around.

We don’t have the Saudi links other clubs seem to, so I’m not going to hold that against Edu.

We just got almost twice the fee that’d been quoted previously for Xhaka too. Keeping my patience with Edu for now.

Azeez to Barca B maybe? Bit like McGuine a few years back. Wherever he goes it feels like he will waste his career anyway.

The Saudi are buying right, left and centre so I don’t think they are buying specifically from selected clubs.
As for Xhaka, he just had his best season in red and white and he is going back to a league he knows. Fee would have likely be different if we sold him last summer

Unless we are selling to prem clubs we won't recoup that much

With players like Nicolas Pepe & Cedric Soares we'll be lucky to give them away - NOBODY wants them. 😒

Pepe has spoken to two Saudi teams and they don't want to pay the wages he wants
They were willing to pay him €5million and bonuses on top, that's isn't bad considering it's tax free

Yeah yeah, but the numbers are not massive, the bottom line is that Pépé is a leading member of the not terribly good club. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm hoping we don't cave and pay off Cedric and Pepe this summer. This option for players entering the last year of their contracts thinking they have us over a barrel has to end sometime, so it might as well be now.

Both players have wasted the last 3 years of their careers. Hopefully the threat of wasting another one pushes them towards the door of their own volition.

I said when we signed Timber, it could be new lease of life for Tierney. Zinchenko isn't exactly reliable, and when he does play he has obvious defensive weaknesses.

Be interesting to see if anybody comes in with a tempting offer for him.
