Good.
I’ll be well happy if it’s true he wants to stay.
I'm not that bothered either way, but it's really simple, if player wants to stay, just say it.

Rumours going round that his agent is trying to play about to get him more money at Leeds.

if player wants to stay, just say, I want to stay.
If player not sure, or wants to leave, say nothing.
Really simple.

Don't get the criticism to be honest. Yes he wasn't picked but was that his fault - who knows? When he did play he played quite well from what i remember.
I remember earlier in the season our players always used to try and find him to try and make some magic happen out of nothing. That would lead to other teams marking him out of the game. Is that his fault ? No

Spot on. He was so good and was hyped up so much by Neville and co that he became our main attacking threat. He was then doubled up on and given some pretty rough treatment by opposition and became less effective. As you say we were guilty of giving him the ball all the time and expecting him to work miracles.
Saying all that, it would be great to keep him if possible but he may feel he should be playing in a top league whether here or elsewhere.
