Get where you are coming from Jonty, but I’m comfortable at the moment. Given that some of our key players haven’t gone anyway (Tyler, Sini, Gnonto, Harrison, Wober, Summerville) gives me hope.
A fit Sini in the championship could be scary.
We will have to be patient, Farke wouldn't have taken the job without knowing we would get some quality players for this division.
We also have some very fit looking footballers in our midst. I wouldn’t be surprised if Farke gets a tune out of some of last season’s failures.
Recruit to a couple of key positions and I don't think we are a million miles off the pace. Up front is a concern but I am not a Bamford hater and I am really excited to see what Joseph and Rutter can develop into. LB and keeper are a worry.
I guess we need to move players on before signing new. Firpo and Meslier come to mind. Looks like no one wants them.
Somewhat agree, although good things come to those who wait. We've not been linked to a single bad player imo and id he happy to wait if it meant signing the likes of Kamara, Piroe, one of the decent keepers linked etc.
Agreed. We don’t want to risk losing the feel-good factor of the 1st few days. Really need to crack on with 1st team squad.
Last season consensus was we need a complete rebuild, now it seems if we keep what we have we're ok.
We clearly didnt have lots lined up, whether thats because we're waiting to exit players or need the fees, who knows, but it's clearly not what lots were expecting once 49ers took over.
It feel like waiting for players too leave before any come in.
Whilst I understand P&S and FFP, if this is supposedly a wealthy consortium would expect to see some decent level of spend rather than having to sell to buy.
Agree Jonty lots of unanswered questions Meslier situation what about Dallas Adams Harrison injury wise. The word mushrooms comrsto mind .Patient is a prerequisite for all Leeds supporters
