----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's £120m a season, Liverpool spent that much on Darwin alone, what's the point?
Chelsea spent almost that we spent in 5 seasons in 1 season?
We spent ZERO in critical seasons under Poch?
It is about spending right. We have bought players that are almost left field.
Yet, now we need CBs, we seem to be struggling to spend on them? I know the window is still open, and the club is in negotiations for a number of CBs but te urgency of these positions are obvious just re-watch the West Ham game.
That's £120m a season, Liverpool spent that much on Darwin alone, what's the point?
========
No we didn't and the point is that Spyrs fans keep doing this weird thing about pretending Levy is tight. It's ridiculous.

Nunez, not that this thread is in anyway about Liverpool, will score about 20 goals in all comps this year I reckon.
Anyway, Spurs issues have very little to with how much they spend.
Nunez played 2365 minutes last season in all competitions.
That’s just under 27 games, managed 14 goals and 4 assists.
Not bad for a first season in a new league
He’ll smash that this season
Sorry I got it wrong, 15 goals and 4 assists

Read the OP. It's about Levy solving problems 24 months late and undervaluing preseason for players.
If you give a manager a 2 year contract its best to spend 200m in the first year and equip him for success than drip 100m a year because you want to balance accounts.

Is there a team in the league that has signed more players than Spurs so far? No.
Spurs have signed plenty of defenders of the past five years and I doubt Levy said, 'No, you can't buy any centre backs on top of the £60m for Romero because I insist on spending £100m on the Brazilian Bobby Zamora and Pedro facking Porro."
From the outside looking in it's just ridiculous, like he's the manager or something. He isn't.
It's also harder for Spurs to sign quality than say Liverpool, City, Arsenal or Utd.

You realise you support Spurs? Even City and United don’t do that.
Spurs aren’t about winning football games. They’re about go karting and concerts.
That’s why the greatest player the club has seen in fifty years will leave on a free with no trophies 👍
If we start the season with the same defence as last year we better hope we score a shat ton of goals cause we’re gonna concede plenty.
People forget, levy even wanted to take the club out of Tottenham to make more money
He’s put 20 per cent on match day tickets
He doesn’t give a f ack about the football fans. That’s why I laugh at those who defend him.
It’s like people who defend boris Johnson. Johnson would sell you up the river in a heartbeat if it meant he would benefit. Same with levy.

I think it is difficult for outsides (non Spurs fans) to understand that Spurs spent in the transfer window, but we have spent it wrongly?
Levy did not address the needs at the time, instead he either got a cheaper version of the player we needed OR he dithered with players we needed and lost them and then went and got someone totally not needed (Danjuma).
