Yes , that may be sherif , but I would like Osimhen in an ideal world, I really do think that the club are going to bring in a couple of big players, sure it’s not going to be Mbappe, but that is the rumour mill.

Any way I’m living in hope.

Good news Poch has stated that Colwill will not be sold in this window 👍

If anybody get Osimhen this summer, they will have pay at least 180m

Napoli do not want to sell
Napoli do not need to sell
Osimhen wants to stay

Erm, yeah Napoli will only let the player go on their terms, they are granite.

Club most certainly wont fork out the transfer fee + astronomical wages for Mbappe (or Oshimen for that matter).

They've cleared the wagebill and targetting players on low wages for a reason. See Kudus as a pertinent example of this, hes on ridiculously low wages at 10k p/w, dont know what Ajax were thinking keeping him on that...wages an attractive proposition for pretty much every top european team. Illogical to think board stump up seven figure weekly wages.

New first-choice Goalkeeper Diouf & Midfielder Caicedo or Boudaoui is all that is required at present, anything else is a bonus (or vanity).

yes, Mf But the ownership ? are they considering it first. as financial priority?

Im not suggesting that are going to be irresponsible, im trying to understand their priorities.

What they do next will really give us an insight to what their process actually means.

Osimhens contract discussions are in dead lock with Napoli, by all accounts ?

Mf, cleared the wage bill , yes of dead wood , but there are group of players on huge contracts.

I think the club will have tiered system for the contracts.

When Lukaku moves off the wage bill there will be an opening for a big contract player imo.

Mf, ref just vanity,

Well i agree Mbappe would be just Vanity.

After that it really depends on how important it is to the club to return to C/L .

Common sense would suggest that the amount of money the new ownership have sunk into the squad so far, including the significant losses on the player sales to date & dropping out of C/L football. ( something i would bet my hat on that they had not anticipated) the club may well prioritise a return to C/L as an essential aim for the club as it will equate to an elite profile, which will mean a greater income to secure the long term amortized strategy & it will make the club more attractive for potential incoming players.

The squad as it is imo, is talented , but it does not have enough quality experience to support the younger players through there first season + plus in the EPL.

The squad needs players who can weather the tough days & take a game by the horns when things are going in the wrong direction.

Rumours around Gallagher,.

When you look at the improvements around City, AFC, UTd & Liverpool, & the settled confidence of Newcastle If Cfc do not compete at the very top level immediately next season will not be any easier.

That is also not considering the likes of Brighton & Villa.

Poch has a two year contract.

I would respectfully suggest to believe that a goal keeper and a midfielder are all the squad requires to put the club where it needs to be is misguided.

If the club stutter next season and finish out of min top 6 these young players will be undermined , the club will be in chaos.

Any way time will tell, it is going to be interesting, i rate Poch , i like the look of the new players and what they have to offer, i just feel that they will be better with a group of more experienced players to help them establish a spine.
