To be honest, these games are never a good measure. It's always nice to win but pre-season games are about fitness levels and instilling tactical shape and patterns.

What is notable is the spirit which is much better than at this time last year. The players actually seem to be enjoying themselves.

I think we desperately need a decent midfielder, but our squad liiks fairly balanced. Maybe a new keeper too - either to challenge Kepa or provide top backup - if someone comes up. Obviously if the right player comes up i any position, we should have a look. We just have to have faith in Poch - he's a players manager. He will instill good team spirit, be tactically astute, and most importantly, get our players fit enough. Feel that Potter and Lampard didn't instill a tactical scheme or fitness regime good enough for the premier league.

Its great for the staff, players and supporters that a more positive air is starting to develop around the club.

Potter was out of his depth, he didnt have gravity to say ok these 24+ players are the squad we are going to work with the rest need to consider their futures away from Cfc .

Frank was in a hole before he even began, but he should have said ok we are focusing this group , the rest are surplus.

Btf, i think that there was so many disgruntled who were on their way out Frank and Potter were between a rock and a hard place.

well if you look at the bright side of Kanes departure, with the money you will be able to but 2 inferior strikers or half a decent striker.

I don’t think it’s a good look tbf

Was very interested in Gallagher perfomance lastnight playing enzo role.

Was moving the ball quickly, lovely round the corner passes, winning the ball and starting our moves.

Be interesting to see how he gets on in the next few months as I didn’t know he had that in his locker.

Good look, yeah but its business for them.
