Never got the Adrian contract extension. He’s cost us in big games before, but hopefully Kelleher will stay.

I'm pretty sure Klopp runs a training session before the friendlies, Rafa used to do the same, and we always look fvcked 2nd half as a result.

Tbh city conceded 3 yesterday and won 5-3. Pre season just needs to be the time to work out defensive solutions.

Players have training before the games as well.

That’s now 2 4-4 in the last 3 games for us. Is this system solid enough to keep teams out?

People always say defences win trophies. We’ve got a fantastic attack but it’s just too open for me atm.

I've got a lot of doubts about the inverted fullback working for us defensively, but it's hard to tell when we're lacking the players atm

If we hadn't been conceding goals for fun similarly all of last season, you might have a point, but we were.

This squad needs a lot of work, a lot. We might fix the midfield but the defence is still very weak. Going to be almost impossible to fix it all in this window.

Last game of season didn't we concede 4 as well. I am.nit sure what we are doing atm tbh

Yes and Gomez and Matip played in both games. Very concerning. If Konate is out for a long period of time we could struggle if we don’t get another CB in.

Me either unfortunately but I wanted Gomez sold ages and would've happily let Matip follow him. It is what it is.
