What was he meant to do about the second one ffs? No keeper on earth saves that from that close.
First one you can argue he's in no man's land for sure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The least he could have done was to get near his post.
At a stretch he could have come for the high ball, which was in the air an age.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolute nonsense. The 2nd goal was bad defending not bad keeping. Nobody is saving that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nonsense that he covers his post?
I know DDGs levels had dropped, and we are desperate for Onana to succeed, but come on. Let's be honest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are a bigger cretin than I thought if you truly believe he was at fault for that second goal. Your agenda is clear for all to see.
DDG ain't saving that one either or Ederson or Alison. Nobody is.
If this is how you're going to be all season then please feck off with your negativity. Anymore absolutely pathetic posts like this and you're getting filtered for sure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Filter away, if you dont agree.
The least he could have done is covered his post. He was nowhere near it.

I’m not having it both ways.
Utter filth
Only seen clips but looks great with the ball, my worry is this only works with the right outfield players and ours have a habit of playing into dangerous situations.
Thought the first goal was poor goalkeeping, had no reason to be coming out so far. Think we will be shipping a lot of silly goals early in the season, especially away from home.
I'm worried and excited at the same time.

And if he'd have dived for it.....it would have still gone in and it would still have been 2-0.
You're losing the plot over a goal that wasnt his fault.
The first one he was definitely partly to blame. If focus on that one.

I suppose it's each to their own but I couldn't fault him for the second, cannot think any keeper would have saved that but 'll never know for sure and was encouraged by the other parts of his game, moving forward we should benefit more than not once all the team are aware and on the same page with what to expect.

New keeper dividing the fan base already, doesn’t bode well

Weve gone from a keeper who make saves but cant play football or anything else for that matter... to one that can play football who is suspect at making saves and dealing with crosses. All in just one preseason warm up game. The Op is a facking tool and I dont think this is the last we are going to hear about this from him. Brace yrselves.

Given the fact he will have only had a few training sessions at most, he won't have got used to where the CM's are to pass to, no surprise he kept it simple. It will take a bit of time for him to get used to the patterns Infront of him, also will take time for the CM's to start expecting the balls from the GK, it's not something they are used to with DDG.
Yes a bit of rush out for the first goal (great finish though) but really nothing he could do with the second. As for flapping at one cross, a massive improvement as DDG never came for a high ball to flap at
