No.
The whole of Europe needs to be worried and more so the PL. They can no longer just outbid everyone and get almost any player they want.
95% of the players in any team will jump ship give them double the wages.
There’s very few who aren’t in it for the money(and rightly so) so it will be interesting to see how this pans out in 3-5 seasons from now. Personally I don’t think this is just a flash in the pan like China was a few years back.
“It is so not fare when teams can just take are players by offering em lotsa ‘scarole”
The end of EPL dominance, it happens.
In Italy when AC ruled the roost, it happened in Spain with the galacticos and now it's Englands turn to have the crown of richest taken off of them.
I mean atleast in Saudi Arabia they don’t have to make them ambassadors and pay them under the table

Everyone at Man City just pretends and carries on with life as if everything is normal, even the fans.

The irony being the rampant and disgusting greed the PL has prioritised will be its downfall. Reap what you sow, would be a very poetic end That said bit premature, I’ll be amazed if Saudi Arabia becomes the worlds best league
Pep will be managing out there next season.
Chelsea, City and PSG changed the landscape a lot more than their fans like to admit. Football hasn't been the same since and not for the better.
However even though he was a dodgy Russian gangster....in Abramovich's defence at least he attended almost every Chelsea game no matter who the opposition were. Same can't be said for the other two.
The sheikh has attended two games in 14 years at City and even missed their first ever CL final (which they lost). This is the guy we are asked to believe really cares about City and Manchester. 😂
I mean, I hate City but Pep's right - the Saudi league will cause huge problems to football.
Taking the best players and putting them in a league which isn't even an actual competition is nothing but a terribly bad thing.
The players are just being randomly assigned to clubs, there's no strategy, passion, thought, fan following - nothing.
It's just a bunch of players playing in a 'league' which is the only league in global sport which is irrelevant - because there's now 4 government backed teams all with equal money.
And they'll keep taking players too. Hendo for example will make close to 100m tax free EXTRA by going.
Nobody would turn that down

Roman was just a rich guy with a plaything but a plaything he actually cared about hence the spending and ruthless nature with managers performances
City and PSG are just sportswashing personified
The sheikhs couldn’t care less it’s just a political agenda
Don't think that anyone would disagree that money has "changed" football?
There's always been richer clubs than others but from the rise in fiscal matters with the EPL, China, even some American clubs it's become a tough call to say what direction it's heading in?
The Saudi involvement is on a new level however and who would blame individuals of accepting wages that will change even modern players life's?
That the level isn't great and the associated problems they have over there won't change things too much imo, interesting next couple of years upcoming with it
Roman was just a rich guy with a plaything

Bit like the Qatari’s minus the sportswashing
All this started with allowing Abramovich to buy Chelsea, and allowing oil money to buy City just opened the floodgates and stretched the imagination of what's possible.
All they’ve done is bought some some ageing and unwanted players apart from Saint Maximin and Neves. 99% of players will choose the Premier League still.

We all know Mahrez can do it on a rainy Wednesday night in Stoke but let's see how he copes on a hot night in Riyadh.
"Saudi Arabia has changed the market," said Guardiola.
If that's your defination of a moan, I can only assume you're not married.
City are so far in your head you've got MCFC tattooed on your Cerebellum.
Ronaldo said it is going to be a very good league and you all laughed. Keep laughing!

Saint Max is defo a money laundering transfer
Actually be quite interesting to see if this continues. They have the money to blow everyone out of the water, but will they keep bringing in players or will this be another China? Or is this a ploy to destabilise so they can start buying up clubs? If it keeps going it will be very interesting indeed. The greedy Pl board will have taken note of all this… where does this end up?
They aren't attracting the elite players who are at their peak.
They're nowhere near to competing with the top leagues either when it comes to potential TV audiences.
It's just an experiment that will fizzle out just like the original MLS.
A "China" is unlikely to happen, as it was their government who put a stop to it as so much money was leaving their economy.
A lot of players already spend a fair bit of time in nearby Dubai and they will have their Western needs catered for in Saudi.
But, as I said recently, I think this is a tester to see how open players are to leave Europe and it is the first step for something bigger than Saudi.
