Problem I have is the injury prone element of several of our players, Patrick and Sini spring to mind - 46 games is a tough ask.

Bamford and Sini will do well to play 46 between them.

I understand your sentiment Kammy but for me you have to look at the odds and see they are heavily stacked against Bamford staying fit for even half a season and unless young Joseph can be some kind of revelation along with Perkins and Joffy we just all fear the same old deficiencies await Leeds in front of goal this season and desperately want a new championship ready striker brought in ASAP.

As for Meslier I just can't see now how he can even regain his first team place with Darlow looking like being the new number 1 so if we can get at least £15 million for him then I'd be all for selling him and I think it will do him good aswell because his confidence looks shot and usually once the court of public opinion goes against you it is virtually impossible to get it back.

👍 Good point that and yes it does seem illogical but we all saw with our own eyes the errors Meslier is prone to which might have looked worse because of the poor defence in front of him but nonetheless I think most Leeds fans will prefer Darlow being our first choice keeper.

I reckon Darlow 's greater experience and I think a bigger presence in the penalty area which a lot of Leeds fans noticed was a considerable weakness in Meslier's armory will mean Meslier's game time with Leeds is very limited.

I suppose if a prospective buying club uses that same logic though in negotiating a fee we'll be lucky to get £15million but the only saving grace in getting let's say at least £10million now is Meslier's young age and he still has a few years on his contract.
