New rule no.1 - Lauders starts the season on -100 points.
If Celtic perform as they did under Rodgers in his last season and Beale keeps performances and form he’s had as manager in league so far, I think Rangers win the league.

still too early to say, Suspect Celtic are not done in the transfer window......
First few games will be tough for us as we try to gel so many new players in. Celtic players far more settled team however new manager.
If we are leading the league after 10 games or the gap to celtic is less than 3 points then we have a serious chance and Id fancy our chances or winning the league.
I will save my predictions until Transfer Window is shut.
League - Rangers
Cup - Celtic

good idea, you might end up signing another Aaron Ramsey

and you might trump that by spending more on another Duffy
i was thinking about Robbie Keane there so went back and watched his goals
absolute embarrassment the state of some of the parks he had to play on btw, brass neck.
He was head and shoulders above the rest, the goal v kilmarnock at CP was unbelievable.
There are a few loanees we have had that I wished we had been able to keep. Players that would have been outstanding for many years up here. Mian ones being-
Robbie Keane
Craig Bellamy
Roy Keane (not a loan but opted to retire, Rangers fans only remember his debut match but he was outstanding for us)

-------------------------
So to clarify, you think a manager who has won 2 trebles back to back and was on course for a third, is less likely than a manager who won absolutely nothing last season to a manager you mocked when he first came in. And the only reason he is manager is because he was coach there when Rodgers was ragdolling him about then too.

Imagine all the peepul
I can't see a scenario in which Aberdeen are closer to Rangers than Rangers are to Celtic.
We weren't very good in pre-season but we're building a team in motion so not altogether surprising. Not sure how Celtic's pre-season has went?
Celtic have lost a top manager and replaced him with a guy that with a short shelf-life in a dressing room because he's a phoney bastirt but it might not bite this season because he's a fresh face for a lot of them.
Celtic signings have been lower profile than expected so there must be 3/4 8/9m players still to join.
I find us difficult to predict at the moment.
Would have been nice to have a system we are set on by now. The lack of wingers makes me think it's going to be the diamond midfield with 2 up top but the weekend should provide some clarity on that.
Team i would pick just now.
GK Butland
LB Barasic
CB Davies (until Goldson is fit)
CB Souttar
RB Tavernier
CM Jack
CM Raskin
CM Cantwell
AM Lammers
FW Danilo
FW Dessers
On what i've seen from Sima so far i'm far from impressed with him as one of the two attackers. Also based purely on pre-season you would pick Dowell over Cantwell.
As others have said - hard to tell till the transfer window closes but as it stands it’s Celtic’s title - better players and better manager.

Sheffield United agreed a fee 5m with Arsenal for Trusty.
Rumoured he was our main target for LCB.
I suspect we will sign 2 or 3 potential starters - not sure what amount will equate to a “big signing”?
Reckon 6/7/8 million might be top price paid
Tell you what is ridiculously annoying me.
No pre season friendly at home which was always included in your season ticket.

I was thinking about that the other day. No doubt they will give us some "added value" content later in the season like a PPV pass for a winter break friendly or some nonsense.
