Yep and the defence is a weaker version of last season's. And striker wise? Well we don't appear to have one Players in or else!

We're looking much fitter and better organised again, although that's the least we would expect after the last regime's mess.

Spot on Jonty,

Always said that a fully fit Sini, Harrison and Tyler Adams are premier league quality. Rest are very average. Astounding we have the likes of Ayling, Cooper, Bamford etc still with us. Move the old guard on ffs.

Yep, I have some sympathy with that comment but if we did get rid, we’d need replacements and I’m not confident in the club doing that, for whatever reason.

Speaking to the Hearts supporters after the game they were very complimentary and particularly impressed with both Cooper and Ayling and wished they had experienced players with that energy and commitment.
Maybe we need them more than we think.

Just to clarify - was talking more about last season to keep our PL status. We should have upgraded earlier in the season. Ayling / Coops experience at championship level will be very handy. Wouldn’t get rid now

I've been reading lots of stuff about having respect for Bamford.

For me nobody deserves more respect than Liam Cooper.

He takes as much criticism as anyone, the "Captain Calamity" jibes are never far away & are absolutely ridiculous.

The lad's improved beyond all recognition & was the man to lead us out of the doldrums after 16 long years. If Gracia had used him towards the end of last season we may not have returned to the doldrums either.

He's become almost a modern day Billy Bremner with the "if you don't want to be here, **** off".

And he's still our best centre-half by a distance.

Full respect Captain Coops 👏👏👏👏

This post wasn’t intended as a slating of the players left more a reflection of players who’s left.

I hope the plAyers that stay ALL do well and if some win promotion this year, fir BBC a second time as leeds players then in my book they’re just as much legends as Revie and Wilko players.

To do it twice under different coaches under such stupid management would be testament to these players.

We've a hell of a season ahead of us and expect one or two more will jump ship before the end of the transfer windows, ie Firpo.

Really don't like to slag off any of our own but those who who have chosen to go on loan should no longer be considered a Leeds player and are therefore fair game.

I think we will do OK

I don't agree that those who have left on loan are "fair game" but I understand absolutely why you think that.

No, none of us would, I imagine, want to see the likes of Max Wober or any of the rest back in a Leeds shirt, but this is part of Orta's legacy and it needs to be dealt with asap, both in terms of financial damage but also toxicity limitation.

But the players are only human and will of course follow whatever path is best for them. If Wober wants to go to Germany, good luck to him - I hope he makes a good impression and that they want to buy him next season and maybe we can limit the financial damage just a little.

Limiting the toxicity means letting these players go. Indeed, they've shown their true colours - we should be pleased they're out. They weren't good enough anyway. I'm particularly pleased Llorente is out.

So, good luck to all of those who have jumped ship. If some of these loans work out, we may limit some damage, but Orta's legacy was always going to be expensive.

Time to let it go, draw a line, move on.

People need to stop making this assumption that any of this loan issue is "Orta's legacy". This is a board decision with the current owners as responsible as Radz, did Orta have much of a say in it? probably not.

Don't think any of the execs, recent past or present have much, if any impunity.

In the Kalvin documentary on Amazon, it was Radz doing the talking, Kinnear and Marathe nodding along and Orta nowhere to be seen.
