Just as well we went to Spain in the preseason to acclimatise for today's conditions.Should give us a real advantage.

My memory is that the opening day of the season always takes place in blazing sunshine. Maybe that’s just a metaphor for the optimism that always lasts until at least 5 minutes past three on these occasions.

Tarting myself up for the train to Sheffield and then onto Derby. Quite a novel experience for me to be around for the opening game of the season. Potential banana skins abound. Keep the faith!
