I’ll be honest and say I’ve never heard of a single one I your signings and haven’t a clue as to whether they are squad fillers or are going to make you better or even worse. And we certainly won’t work that out from meaningless pre season friendlies.

What I am reading is a distinct (so far) lack of a formation or line up although I’m sure that will come.

As such I can’t see how anyone gets under anyone’s skin.

Cantwell is a decent player but he turned up here with a pretty rotten reputation with Norwich and their fans due to his off-field SM persona and despite clear ability he clearly had facked up in the eyes of the club. Damaged goods somewhat. Guy deserves another chance.

Turning up to sign in half a spiderman costume didn't start well and the club didn't help by photoshopping his heid onto some body builder cant's body. He has since seemed happy to fall into playing the role of chief cheerleader for the easily led. Not quite Barton levels yet but I have high hopes. Just replace pseudo-intellectual bull with male model pretension. Comments, well I aint read all them but he appears to talk a good game in his leadership role? It’s a really odd argument anyway. “Yeah, he’s won fack all but he gets under opponent fans’ skins, and that’s the main thing”.

It’s the Morelos effect. He was so dedicated to being a huge and pulsing helmet, he forgot to do the incidentals, like eat and train properly and to be good at football.

The slight worry is he has been playing deeper to accommodate lammers and pre season had not stood out yet.

Bottom line rangers fans will not care if he looks like Tom brady when he takes the field, as long ad he is doing the business.

He was a Uruguayan International on loan from AC Milan and he wasn't very good. So we acknowledged that.

This is the problem Beale will need to solve.

There is a worry he has overloaded the signings with players who perform the same role or is the plan more about depth. Question of have Dessers and Danilo been brought in to play together or to both fill the same role and share the minutes? Cifuentes will further crowd the squad which again feels that the idea is to rotate with hopefully similar quality in depth maybe.

Pre season generally isn't much to get too excited about but I think we look a bit rough at best at the back and the goals we scored were almost all mistakes or penalties. Only Lammers v Hoffenheim stood out as one we created ourselves in open play.

Much to work on for Kilmarnock and beyond

Yep, Cantwell has really got to celtic fans.

On a more serious note, I'm not sure how the team's all going to fit together especially with the European tie coming up.
