Done.
Right now they are suffering from their position last season as some key players they went for did not think of them as an exciting outfit to join. And add to this, every club has hiked up their prices as soon as they know it is West Ham Utd because every club knows they have money to burn.
I do believe they will do 1 or 2 good signings. They are far from being the worst sides in the league - in fact, there are at least 4 sides below them imo. Moyes has PL experience which is important to factor in.
Remember, even having Declan Rice last season, they were absolute pants!
They may struggle but that's how they operate, but they will be just ok.
They’ll probably buy one of Maguire and McT from us. Must be so frustrating to be a West Ham supporter as you lose your captain but think at least you’ll buy some much needed players yet the owners use the cash to prop up their porrrrn business

McTominay would be decent for them. Maguire will play well for them as well, but they have about 8 CBs already so seems to be focusing on the wrong area.
They have a good youth side, but Moyes hasn't really utilised that thus far. Maybe he thinks it is time.

How come Glazer has declared himself the United board spokesman? From his perspective, the issue for him is that there’s nothing troll worthy in this article so he thinks it’s pointless. He struggles with actual football related stuff.
I do wonder how fans of ‘smaller’ sides feel in this situation. Is it more important to them to be a consistently mid table side, never in threat of relegation but never really threatening to win anything either, or would they rather go all out and try and win an actual trophy like West Ham did but then be in real danger in a relegation scrap?

Think they need more than that, personally. They need attacking players. Going into the season hoping Antonio and Ings will get enough goals, and that Benrahma and Cornet can provide them looks like wishful thinking.
Last season was a bit of an anomaly in that usually it is the teams who can't score who go down. Not sure we will see a repeat of Leicester and Leeds outscoring everyone around them but still going down. And, as Scamacca proved, it is hard to find reliable goalscorers.

They are apparently still continuing their transfer activities...So they haven't concluded their business yet.
See (They are looking for up to 6 transfers -- as per this article)

It is 6 days til the season starts. They will be scrambling around and struggling to buy players good enough. Spending at the end of the window doesn't work a lot of the time. And, as you said, they will probably have to pay premium prices.

Think there are a fair few Southampton fans who have gone into this season with more excitement and expectation than they have the last few. Leeds fans far less so, but it isn't that long since their last spell there. Leicester fans obviously have a different experience.
I'm sure fans of a club like Everton would be devastated by relegation, but if they had a successful Championship season the next year I am sure for many under 40s it would be their most enjoyable season.

yes they have sold a couple, yes they have a manager issue.

No they did not. Another example of a buffoon who can’t tell the difference between the odd idiot fan and ‘all the United faithful’.
Did someone bash you on your noggin when you were a child or are you just naturally this thick?
They have been linked with Maguire (£30m) and McTominay (£40m). I think they may change to 3/5 at the back.
What was odd as last season they had similar stats to the season before but they didn't take their chances as often. Certain signings haven't worked out (Like that Italian striker). They do need to replace their aging players. Antonio was meant to be sold to the Saudi League. They need to replace him.
From the BBC:
Moyes is thought to favour established Premier League players, such as James Ward-Prowse, Chelsea's Conor Gallagher and Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay.
However, West Ham believe they are too expensive and Steidten has suggested other options.
The Hammers believe any tensions that do exist will settle down once the season starts, but results like this will increase the demand to spend some of the £105m raised from the sale of Declan Rice to Arsenal last month.
Talks are thought to be at an advanced stage over signing Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez, who was outstanding in Mexico's Gold Cup final triumph against Panama in Los Angeles earlier this month, although no deal has been finalised yet.
