I heard we were haggling over how optional the optional extras are.
Just pay what they want. Yes it ties up funds for future transfers and yes it might drive up asking prices in future but we will have gained one player. Everyone knows signing players is better than responsibly running the clubs finances.
I’d agree with us either sorting a deal and getting him signed or if we aren’t prepared to pay the money moving on.
But we obviously aren’t at that point! All signs point to a deal being done and that the 2 clubs are haggling over how the optional add on’s are paid and or structured.
