Better result than I expected, Cifuentes looked good and Cantwell had a good game. Still lots of learning and gelling for the new lads

Haven't seen any of it..... just read Grant's copy in The Times......"unconvincing and anxious night"...... profligate to say the least......it might all click in the next few weeks or it doesn't and he's bought a shed load of lemons...... Certainly thus far nothing to be fearful about for the first league meeting in a few weeks.....with all their missing players back Beale has a job on just getting through this tie....

There were some signs of life at least.

Still abundantly obvious this is a team still finding themselves and making connections, they will improve over time no doubt but there's nothing much to shout about yet.

Dessers was a handful in both boxes. Thought he played well, Cantwell was decent too, Barasic good for 45mins. Other than that and a look at Cifuentes who showed some promise I felt the team were pretty flat.

I'm unconvinced we can play without a pacy winger and did not enjoy Lammers, Danilo and Dessers as a 3. Shame the guys that could play as pacy wingers are all schite. Hopefully we wisen up to that before the window closes.

Lammers atm looks like he should be back up for Dessers and Cantwell if they aren't fit.
