This is terrible by the club. Three bids rejected in public (not the Liverpool way). We either rate the guy and pay the £50m or walk away. We have a worse squad than last season when we did not make the CL and win nothing. This is going to be an extremely disappointing season again. When are the fans going to see what FSG are doing to the club?
FSG probably got what they wanted which is for another club to step in and take the player. They ain't serious people but will always have communist fans backing them blindly.

I am one that am not too negative of FSG but past two seasons it has been ridiculous.
I think they panicked when mane left and bought Nunez and then had no money left for a midfielder.
We then wasted a whole season for one facking player in Bellingham and then realised couldn't get him.
Now we decided to sell fab and hendo when we alreqdy moved 3 midfielders on and replaced with only 2 incoming players.
This should force our hand. There's no way we're not going to just stump up another £4m.
If cfc get Lavia...the end for FSG and I can see protests against the owners
BTW I don't even think Lavia is the saviour and is he better than our own Bajcetic, another youngster. Surely there are other targets.

Club have completely fvcked up what was supposed to be a rebuild. 5 midfielders out, 2 in and nowhere else even touched.

Oh dear, what a summer…
FSG said they were looking for new investment and they have found none, they appointed a DOF who’s clearly in over his head and already on his way back to retirement and we have a stadium upgrade still not finished in time for the start of the season.
They have allowed two of the most influential players we’ve had at the club in years to leave alongside a huge clear out of players that have left us with one of the smallest squads in the Premier League. Two players for a rebuild? Seriously?
Now we can’t scrape a little extra for a player who was initially way down our list of replacements remember the Bellingham promises? We might well see Chelsea go out and sign both Lavia and Caciedo now.
Klopp won’t speak to the press after games at the movement and no wonder because he told the fans players were coming in and they clearly are not.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he moves on soon and I would blame him in the slightest. Maybe there will be another job going with one of the new clubs FSG are looking to acquire?
I think most Liverpool fans agree now…. It’s time for FSG to ship out…they are hated in equal parts over here and in America by fans who want to see their teams compete with the best.

Even 45m is too high for an unproven 19yo who got relegated last season.
Just back here for the meltdown from some of our fans.
Fook me, £48m for a 19 year old player that no one had even heard of before last year while we got Gakpo and Mac Allister for about £30m each.

I can understand those that don’t rate Lavia, fine, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of transfer activity this summer. We needed a rebuild after last seasons failure. Do we have it? Not IMO.
I hope those who don’t seem bothered have the same attitude when we are shipping a raft load of goals in the next few games

I understand what you're saying and that was my opinion before the club made a bid. However, now we have bid and are haggling over a few million without a replacement for the players sold. Needs must. Ultimately another season without CL football could cost the club a lot, lot more.
