Aren't we supposed to be making a decision about Greenwood before the first game? Considering we are only few days away from that, surely if he was going to be in the squad then we'd have given him a number now?

No reason to give him a number now as these numbers are provisional and subject to change. I don't think his name/number being excluded tells us anything either way.

I understand not giving Hojlund a number because he's new but not including Greenwood is more telling I think when he already has a first team squad number.
