Daniel Levy shafted Harry Kane when he refused to let him join City after a gentleman's agreement.
Maybe this is Kane's payback. Spurs will lose £100m and Kane will walk for free next season and collect a huge sign on fee from his new club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mean old Levy holding his employee to a contract which he willingly signed. Really shafted him.
The 'gentleman's agreement' was if an offer came in they'd discuss it. City submitted a laughable offer, so Spurs discussed it, laughed for a while, then said no.
Sandy, come out to playyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I’m so bored of this saga
Proper loser
Has the chance to finally play for a big club and compete for trophies and bottles it. Frankly he’s perfect for Spurs
Lot of oppo fans seem upset that he might stay
ive always thought part of the Kane camp tactics would be to get someone like BM to a position of agreeing a fee and then see if anyone else wants to jump in. If Real or Barca suddenly pitched in he'd probably go there.
Of course, the PL tax would not see us sell domestically for this sum.

Spurs will challenge for top 4 if he stays so nothing for me to be happy about. Unless he joins Arsenal on a free next summer, then it will be worth it 😅

I had that exact same thought.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So be it. But the hope is we can offer as much as any other club (excpet for City).
Gary Neville said a few days ago on the overlap that Levy rejected Bayern’s previous bid, because he knew Kane would reject it. Logic being that if Spurs accepted a £86M bid from Bayern, Kane can throw his toys out if they don’t accept the same offer from United/Chelsea.
Will be interesting to see if United/Chelsea come in with a similar offer to Bayern now.

£100m offer was made. Daniel Levy reneged from the deal maybe because of his dislike for the club that made the offer.
I hope Kane stays and give the Spurs fans one more year of goals.
Daniel Levy can go f***k himself.

Truth be told I think Levy wanted Kane to stay. He might be frustrated at losing out on Kane money but he'll also think Kane may help us to get top 4, which will of course bring in the money anyway, and will have a hope that Kane can be persuaded to sign a new deal following a good season.
