Lloris is still looking for a club, apparently

I just see no value in retaining him when he does have market value.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He only has market value if someone actually wants him though!
Hopefully someone comes in for him. He's on mental wages so getting them off the books would be good.

Assuming the Maguire, Fred and Kovar deals are concluded at the reported fees, that’s over £70m in so far this window.
Still Donny and Bailly to go, with question marks over Henderson and McT.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
£70m?
Maguire £30m
Fred is around £8m plus £5m add ons?
Kovar also around £8m?
Have I been Rosso’d?
True but it might be that we’ve priced him out of a move to Forest. Also got to consider that he wants to leave, he wants to play and even though I don’t rate him that highly he’s too good to be sat on the bench - he can have a decent prem career.

Weird that Kovar gets sold when he is probably the best passing goalie after Onana.
Some.weird injuries these days. Buendia, Jesus,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was amazing with his feet preseason. Every bit as good as I’ve seen from Onana.
Hope it’s true that we have a buyback clause. He could develop into a very good keeper.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I read an analysis of the academy goalkeepers recently that praised Kovar very highly but said Elyh Harrison is on another level and the one we should genuinely hope to see make it to first XI. Only 17 years old though so obviously not part of this back-up conversation.
A young Gary Neville would be jealous of his curtains.

Woodward must be fuming seeing four other prem clubs break the £100m barrier whilst we haven’t.
Woodward can fck off man him going is the best thing to is season for us.
Our scouts recommended Caicedo in 2021 and was available for £3m but Woodward decided against it?
Yeah not sure exactly.
Pretty mental that two of the £100m players are defensive mids.
Would’ve kept Kovar and given him a go in cups, but I don’t exactly know much about him outside of pre season where looked very comfortable on the ball.

Wtf?! Is he really that good? Like really?
Didn’t we refuse to pay £4m for Caicedo a couple of years ago? Between that and Haaland you have to question our scouts.
