Over to klopp and the team now. Owners have done their bit. Still feel we are slightly light at cb but when the owners have forked out £225m in one window its hard to complain.

This only tells me one thing to me. Klopp threatened to quit and FSG crapped their pants.

Brighton should use half the money to sign Lavia now for half the price, just to p*ss Chelsea off even more.

I would be wanting United to look at who Brighton are lining up for about £3m to replace Caicedo and go for them. Fckin beautifully run club they are.

Good signing for you, especially as he already has the connection with Mac Allister. Fckin expensive but that’s the way it goes now days.

3 most expensive players in the league and all DM/CM hybrids now.

£110m is mad, not many better than Klopp to nurture him though

“Other clubs can go out and spend more money and collect top players. I want to do it differently. I would even do it differently if I could spend that money.“

Bargain in today's crazy market where a 30 year old flat track bully with dodgy ankles that never turns up for big matches, in the last year of his contract and desperate to get away from his current club, can go for £100m?

posted on 11/8/23

You never know whether its good deal until a year or two in, VVD was huge money but looking back it was a bargain. This deal sounds expensive and I don't know a great deal about the lad but I hope the deal happens and it works out. Whilst the money in football is obscene especially given how people are struggling to make ends meat but the average fan shouldn't be too worried as its the billionaires that are buying him and whether a club splashes the cash or not the fan will still pay over the odds for ticket, cup of tea, pint, shirt etc

the only thing we can say for certain is that your never more than 3 feet away from a Chelsea signing

Silly, silly money. However he’s exactly what you need and I’m now very worried about our top 4 chances <okay>

If you’d signed a CB too i think you’d be most likely to challenge city.

I thought FSG were penny pinchers because they refused to pay for Bellingham?

Chelsea bodied by Liverpool, you do the donkey work all summer. The big boys will take it from here.
