I didn't say they didn't or it wasn't. I said clubs can't agree personal terms with a player nearly three months before an agreement with his club, legally. I was specifically referring to the statement in the tweet, stating personal terms were agreed at the end of May.

Although even if that is the case I'd imagine new personal terms would need to be agreed.

Saint's should defintely ask more for Lavia now.

I don't really get why Liverpool didn't bid for Caicedo earlier if they genuinly want him and are seemingly willing to pay top dollar. It seems pretty clear they could always afford Lavia but were unwilling to match the price.

You can agree personal terms before agreeing a fee. I think generally personal terms are agreed before the transfer fee tbh

On Klopp and Liverpool. I'm only messing really. It's just the way of the world that clubs now have to spend. I have no issue with clubs spending big. It's just funny from our side to bring this up! All managers are hypocrites to some extent anyway. We've had plenty at OT for sure.
