Chelsea have hired the same financial team who did City's accounts clearly. 😂

How on earth they can afford to spend all this money with no CL revenue is beyond me. Nobody else seems to be able to do these kind of details without that CL income. We certainly couldn't and we are one of the biggest three clubs in world football with one of the biggest revenues.

The PL has lost all control over spending hasn't it? These rules seem to have more holes in them than a sponge.

So far Liverpool have only done what Arsenal used to do under Wenger- put in big bids for players they know they won't get to make their fans think they will spend big.

You've spent about 850-900m in just two years. Granted you've brought about 250m back in the other way but that's way more than what we've spent in same time.

We spend roughly 150m net on average a year and are a much bigger club with a stadium almost twice as big.

Chelsea and City are the charity case clubs. They have to have someone else fund their 'success'.

Also goes off the last 3 years rather than the upcoming year.

If it looks so, so blatantly dodgy then there's a very good chance it's your ignorance (se85) of the actual rules as well as having no idea what their books etc look like than it is that Chelsea are so blatantly and grossly just spending what they want.

This isn't a topic fans can discuss with any certainty what so ever, nobody knows. None of us hmare privy to pretty much any information. It's why everyone camps on twitter and obsesses over Chinese whispers.

If someone can fully break down Chelsea's finances along with specifics on ffp etc to give a solid and objective argument then I'd give it a read but in the absence of that it'll just be emotional gibberish which is mostly driven by bias.

Not disagreeing entirely, but significant amounts of that quoted spend is spread out across like 8 years, so they haven't just got rid of 900mil in 2 years.
