And maybe a GK

Martial, Eriksen probably in the second 11 and doubt they’ll leave.

Amrabat or any other CM that hopefully comes in too.

If we sign anothwr CB which it looks like we will try to when Maguire leaves, then either them or Varane would be back up.

Definitely light up top though.

Henderson
Dalot Lindelof New CB Malacia
McT Mainoo New CM/Eriksen
Sancho Martial Garnacho

All likely to be at this stage not in the first 11 if absolutely everyone is fit (depending on the opponent).

Not sure what Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea, Spurs complete back up 11 would look like in comparison?

Obviously City’s squad is ridiculously good.

Greenwood has just been added back on the United websites squad section. Although he's one player, if he can get back to the previous form, he will elevate our attacking depth significantly. He has many more game winning moments in his locker than Antony or Sancho.

I disagree...apart from Bradley it's pretty good, would prefer another in mf but happy enough. Wr COULD add Moises or Lavia to it.

Sorry but If those are the guys you have to rotate in, the situation doesn't seem great?

I saw arsenal today, and Havertz, Martinelli, Saka, Odegaard, Nketiah we’re all dangerous, even rice at times.

Then they could bring on Trossard, Smith Rowe, and have Jesus out.

City and Liverpool also have goals throughout their side.

Our depth is really abysmal.

Evan Furguson just scored for Brighton. I’ll reserve judgement until I see Hojlund, but I really wanted us to snap up Ferguson.

Aye, what I've seen of him I feel he could be a top baller, that said I'm not sure what price they would have put on him with the cash they've already earned and still will?

If he keeps developing along the same path as he's so far been on he could be a top, TOP striker

Kepa going to Madrid. Maybe seeing as no one wants DDG even on a free we should get him back on a pay as you play deal to strengthen our depth.

Fair point, I do think however that he might or might not have thought about him but decided he wanted to go another direction?

That said I'll be very interested in how he develops and progresses, if he does keep on getting better he will end up costing someone a fortune

Squad depth is becoming pretty standard amongst the top 6 now, we’re severely lacking.

Newcastle added brilliantly to their squad, and whilst many think “they haven’t strengthened their first team”, for 28 games of the season you don’t really need to, having decent quality in depth is enough to beat most sides.

We’ve already seen City, Arsenal, Newcastle put our sides that probably we’re considered their best. But against wolves, you can pretty much telegraph out like up now, and for the game after, and the game after that.

posted on 12/8/23

Yeah, we defdo need a couple more quality additions.

posted on 13/8/23

We definitely need another striker or two
