The recruitment last summer - quality of players, personalities, contracts - has absolutely screwed us. It was a terrible transfer window that we are still seeing the consequences of now.
Only positive at the moment is we have a good manager who knows what is needed and isn’t afraid to say so. We need to get Adams, Gnonto and whoever else doesn’t want to be here out as soon as possible and bring in some reinforcements.
It’s sad because we absolutely could be in a position to go back up if it was handled better

A month ago people on this forum were saying it would be ok to have a slow start, we've plenty of time blah blah.
Utter rubbish.
We're in a mess, and if we're waiting for Bamford to recover before we go into a game with a "striker" we really are in deep, deep trouble.
Problems started summer 2021.
Great first season back up, then James & Firpo were our only new first team squad signings.
Say no more.
Should have been thinking big then. Now we're thinking of surviving in the Championship.
Fuming at this moment.
Like most of us, id love to stay positive but there’s just nothing there at the moment to be upbeat about. Farke maybe the only thing.

League one sidr that went up, would batter the team that started today.
Incredible whats happenee this summer
Didn't feel this bad in League 1. Been easily the least enjoyable window I've ever known. Not on board at all right now.
On balance you get what you deserve - no sugar coating this.
Signings last couple of years have been dire.
I consider myself a generally quite positive Leeds fan, but I am up in arms about the absolute mess that the 49ers have made of this transfer window.
So much potential to bounce straight back, and unless the next 3 weeks are handled markedly better than the previous 3 months it will be a struggle to compete.
That starting line-up today had 1-0 defeat written all over it.
Leeds United 2023. Never saw this coming.
Keep saying it but we seem to go from bad to worse with owners. I dream of the good old days of Bates and Celino.
Sini has release clause according to what i've just read.
We just need Farke to walk out and that will complete the complete and utter catalogue of disasters being thrown at Leeds like a tornado of shyytte hitting the fan.
I hold my hands up as I felt genuinely optimistic about our new owners being able to ensure we get promoted straight away....But one set back after another seemingly without any competent contingency measure in place to quell all the fallout just feels like we're sinking fast into oblivion and we're all being utterly mugged off by them.
Sort it out FFS 49ers you are pisssing us all off, get some decent loans in and give Farke the tools he needs to help us get back to the EPL.

For me we proved how easy it should have been against Cardiff. The quality of our players were miles above theirs. Yet stupidity meant we didn’t even win that.
Now with further injuries/revolts we lost 4 more of our best players and this was always going to
Be tough.
How much is bad luck and how much is bad leadership? Will too much is bad leadership. How much is Marathe to blame for that or the previous regime?
We will never fully know.
This is embarrassing. But as bad as it is. Still no excuse not to mount a promotion challenge from here.
Pull your finger out and sort this mess.
No excuses. We still have enough pull and enough players to build a promotion side around. Not going to be as easy as it should but that’s life. Now get on with it.
