I watched MOTD last night as I thought I'd enjoy seeing quality footballers ply their trade at football clubs run at the polar opposite level of competency to Leeds United but all it did was depress me even more at how far we have sunk..17 days and counting to rescue the situation.
Ooh actually I got that wrong not including today there are 19 days before the transfer window closes so in theory plenty of time for our knights in shining armour to put their money where their mouth is and astound us all with at least 5 new quality first team players and allay all our fears and we can have a great big laugh about all this as there is nothing to worry about whatsoever....said no one!
Knowing our luck all the loans will either be duds for the clubs loaned to, so we'll see them back and unwanted, or they'll do well, help their clubs do better earning more money. The clubs then decide to buy better so we end up having all the unwanted back at Thorpe Arch anyway.
In a nutshell we have a problem next summer, because like many, I don't want to see any of them in LS11 wearing a Leeds shirt ever again. ( I'll exclude Jack Harrison, as him and Rapha saved us last year.)

That starting line up yesterday wouldn't.
Gnonto & Summerville were in Ibiza together 5 days before the Cardiff game.
Tells its own story.
Yes it's obvious Summerville will go too along with Adams and Sinisterra and then probably on the last day of the window Gnonto and Meslier but not to worry Firpo will be the shining light and amaze us all with his left back defensive qualities he's hidded from us this last 2 seasons.
It's the travelling support I really feel for.
With a couple of minor exceptions, if the starting line up from yesterday played in my back garden I'd draw the curtains. A mishmash of mainly players only still with us because they're not wanted elsewhere & unproven youth. Oh, & an almost permanently injured full-back who couldn't wait to leave last time we were in the Championship.
And this lot are almost all we have left.
I've just realised that Farke said something to the effect the supporters will have to wait until September 2nd to see the Leeds team that he will have to work with which makes me think these "new owners" are planning to do the bulk of their transfer activity business on transfer deadline day..... That's almost guaranteeing virtually no points for the next 3 or 4 games as we saw what Farke has to play with yesterday.
I hope to God I'm reading into this wrong though.

You can have five in the matchday squad. Not sure if you can have more than that at the club.
Not sure if it's been said but, as much as the 'new'
ownership's getting panned for the outgoing players
mess, I still feel that their incomings have been
miles better than previous seasons. Ampadu, Darlow,
Rodon, and Byram (so far) shows a ton more savvy
than the Orta winging it debacles.
