Shameful.
They’ll right a book on the financial disaster of this summer.
Apparently no loan fee according to reports.
I would say this is one of the worst outgoing transfers I’ve ever seen at Leeds.
It’s a total disgrace.
Bottom 3 when signing a contract with a relegation clause in it 🤣
How is Kinear still at the club

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seen this take going round. The fact we were at risk of relegation is the reason the clause was there. No point putting them into the contracts of players for teams that have no chance of going down.
Not all clauses in contracts are there for the club. Some of them are there to protect the player.
Lubo
Yes but surely should be permanent.
This is just crazy
Nothing short of a scandal for Jack to go out on loan for nothing. This whole debacle will go down in infamy at the club. Doing a Leeds 2.0. It won't have gone unnoticed by potential target players. The club is in full-on damage limitation mode but these contracts are dictating what we can and cannot do.
The 49rs were in bed with Radz, they are absolutely culpable here. This is not a football takeover, its a media and pr move run by incompatible sporting cultures.
It’s unbelievable incompetence. To let 6 players leave on loan due to clauses is absolutely terrible management of a football club. Set a relegation transfer clause like Adams but not a loan clause ffs.
Either we get good money for them to replace them or we are able to use them. If all the players out on loan had stayed, we’d be going up automatically. But instead we are left with a poor squad, no incoming money and difficulties managing FFP
"It is impossible for us to be relegated." Played Russian roulette with these clauses with the club's future to try sign a bunch of tool downing, wanabee bottlers.

I agree. I see no sense in the loan clause that Orta seems to have invented.
I just don't know why people have issue with players at a side amongst the five most likely for relegation having clauses in their contract for that fairly plausible eventuality.
Pretty sure Jack was on 90k a week on his new
contract. Are the 49ers looking at this as a saving
on wages - assuming Everton have to pay 100%
of his salary this season.
Just a giant cluster fck of a clown car.
Hopefully some good news soon.
Hopefully...
And, good luck to Jack. Don't begrudge this one.
Stupid contracts lead to stupid outcomes.
Southampton & Leicester have generated
70+ mill each on player sales.
LUFC 3 mill (on Rodrigo).
Historically bad management.
What. a. total. fuqqup.
Not even a penny changing hands for Harrison? It just keeps getting worse!
I'm sure Farke is wondering wtf BIG TIME!
All I can say is that this club is falling apart in front of our eyes...no one wants to play for this club.
We're becoming L1 strength.
So which striker are we signing that Angus has promised us this week?

Need to sell before we can buy Ched Evans.
Being reported that Sini and Gnonto can both leave on loan as the latter is under 21 and 7 international maximum only applies to 21 plus.
Fabrizio claiming Bournemouth have triggered Tyler Adams 20 mil release clause.
Think the striker linked will be either Archer, Antonio, Maupay or that Finland one who looks like Haaland.
Transfer fees received by the 3 relegated clubs
Leicester 79 million (3 players departed)
Southampton 77 million (7 players departed)
Leeds 3 million (8 players departed)
Speechless.
This is worse than relegation from Prem the last time where Blackwell basically had to recruit a whole new side.
At some point 49ers have to bring players in.
No more hiding behind FFP, bring players in or this side is going down another division if we're not careful.
I'll be just glad to keep Summerville and hopefully build the side around him with Ampedu in the middle and Rondon at the back and Meslier/Darlow in goal is a sort of half decent spine but obviously we need at least 6 more first team players to challenge the top 6.
Rutter James Poveda and another winger will have to do us for the wide positions and up front a new striker to add to Summerville, Bamford and Joseph with Joffy filling the bench until PB returns. I'm expecting Perkins to leave.
In midfield we really need 2 new players there to add to Ampedu and Archie... the rest we have in midfield I don't think are good enough and I don't think we can rely on Dallas to come back any time soon if at all sadly.
Defence I'd say we need one more Centre back to add to Cresswell Cooper and Rondon and of course a new recognised left footed left back to compete with Byram who has been alright tbh. Drameh and Ayling will have to do for our rb options and I'd keep Struiyk as a useful sub utilised as a defender/defensive midfielder.... the rest again aren't good enough
As Farke said our goalkeeper in Meslier and Darlow is the only area we're OK in so until we get all those areas filled I'm not expecting any victories in our next 2 games at home to WBA and away at Ipswich.
You can also bet that for many of those targets mentioned above lower premiership teams wil be monitoring poised to move in waving premier cash at them. Who knows more conventionally run clubs who have normal contracts like Leicester and Southampton might just use some of that revenue to outbid us anyway.
