We don’t have De Gea anymore. Most of the hammerings we had last few years is opposition massively outdoing there XG. Inbelieve Man City scored 3 more than the XG suggested when we lost 6-3 and last season Liverpool I believe scored over 4 goals kore than expected in game we lost 7-0. I think De Gea save percentage against Liverpool last few years is like 25% hence the hammerings. Alisson is like 80% save percentage against us in same time.

Most of the hammerings we suffered last few years the opposition keeper actually made more saved which shows how inept De Gea was.

I actually don’t remember De Gea saving 6 shots in a game in ages so Onana did something that rarely happened under De Gea last 5 years and to do it with a clean sheet is more amazing.

This game does confirm my worries with our transfer this season, cannot understand why we make that Mason Mount transfer. Good player but doesn’t get the team to the next level. Rather get a striker much earlier and Amrabat.

On a positive note, we started worse than last season but have 3 more points

Sorry that is a penalty and for VAR not to ask the ref to go and look at the monitor stinks and will open the floodgates to accusations of corruption.

Hiding behind it's not a clear and obvious error, my goodness Wolves have been well and truly robbed. Disgusting incompetence...I certainly don't miss VAR in the championship... you're welcome to it.

What a daft post

Open your eyes. .. it was blatent.. you're embarrassing yourself thinking otherwise.
My best mate is a Man U fan and at least he admits it was a penalty. Anyway I'm not bothered you keep deluding yoursel.. I've got more things to worry about being a Leeds fan. You got lucky tonight and the VAR official should be sacked.

Floodgates of corruption? Yep still daft and OTT, penalty or not.

Ratings for me:

Onana - 6
Awb - 7
Varane - 6
Martinez/Lindelof - 5
Shaw - 6

Casemiro - 4
Guy who ran onto the pitch - 8
Mount - 4
Bruno - 5

Antony - 5
Rashford - 3
Garnacho - 1

Do we think Sancho and David are good enough. Have they got it in them to get better.
Is Garnacho still a sub player.
What's our best three in midfield.

I think VC is right about minutes in the legs, hopefully that's been partly put right tonight

---------------------------------------------------------------------- I will have to Then we'll have to agree to disagree then.
Wait till you're on the receiving end at City or Liverpool or wherever and see if you're of the same opinion.
It's a natural reaction to think when a stonewall penalty isn't given in the dying seconds that something dodgy is at play but you are perfectly welcome to your opinion that everything is above board... I'm obviously more of an old cynic than you.

They are all ultimately not good enough. But Garnacho should not be starting.

Did they show any of Fellainis surprise cameo tonight btw?!

We were sh-t tonight but don’t read too much into it. If you don’t like Mount then don’t make out his performance tonight is a clear representation of how he’ll perform for us this season. We got 3 points in a game we were very poor in, try and see the positives from the game and hope we can play more as a team on Saturday.

Just checked De Gea made 6 saves in 2 league games last season. Also Ten Hag agrees. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/66422951

Who remembers this? Goal given and they never created a chance in that game and we drop points as a result.

If that is a Gk error then surely Onanas last night was?

De Gea got hit in the face. It is amazing people think yesterday incident is a penalty.

De Gea wasn’t a goalkeeping error and I am usually critical of De Gea. You can’t do much when you get smashed in the face when the ball is about to come near you. https://twitter.com/D_DeGea/status/1206282935978082318?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1206282935978082318%7Ctwgr%5E37d981fca7b07530bc1dc9064a4fd46786999411%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Finews.co.uk%2Fsport%2Ffootball%2Fpremier-league%2Fmanchester-united-everton-goal-david-de-gea-foul-disallowed-var-375474

We should have had probably 20 penalties last season and all much better claims than the Wolves one yeaterday. Honestly think there is corruption in football as Palace away Man City got a penalty for a dive and we got cleaned out= no penalty away to Palace. Costs us 2 points and gains Man City 2 points and everyone says how great Man City are.

Remember Haaland smashing a player out the way and a goal counting. Refs have it in for Man Utd. Luckily they got yesterdays decision correct.
