It was only ever temporary. We've hinted if not stated as much many times but of course you can't prove snyhlthing until it happens but we are showing in the right direction.

Really nice signing if I ignore the absurd fee. I suppose it's the universe's way of balancing out getting Kante for a laughable 30mil.

He's kind of the player I think a lot of people mistakenly thought Kante was, got a lot of Kante's qualities but he does have the ball playing ability to be a DM. A happy compromise between Makelele & Kante almost - VERY much a player I'd associate with Abramovich's Chelsea.

The best thing about him as a signing is the fact it allows us to play a back 4 but still get Enzo playing higher up the pitch which we really should be doing
