Some in here have criticised the player, the family, the club, even the alleged 'victim' in order to support their immediate judgement.

Others have said there must be more to it than we currently know, and in the unlikely event we get ALL the facts, we will have to accept the decision of the alleged 'victim' the CPS, and the club.

I know which of these 2 groups is the more sensible.

Well. It seemed obvious tto most that some form of defence,/ explanation would be offered, plus the CPS and club have specifically referred to significant information not within the public domain.

The Utd board has its fair share of nutters that’s for sure. And a couple of seemingly unpleasant people as well.

But to bring balance, I also think the Utd board has some of the best posters on the site - really intelligent and interesting contributions.
