fingers in a knot again, I got excited I thought we might just ...
Yes, I haven't had a flicker the stream is perfect.
It looks as if they have lost heart.
I wonder what Evatt will have to say when this debarcle finishes?
I wonder when Toal will be back. It taking some time and it's a little worrying.
I'd lock our players in and make them watch it over and over again.
Burton Albion next up. Let's hope we can win that one.
We didn't deserve anything from that.
At last I can turn the telly off.
What pile of smelly crap that was.
I'll be back tomorrow when I have settled down.
I'm off it may take a while to get over that display.
If IE says he saw the issues and knows how to fix them, I'll be on the next plane over there to sort him out.
I shouldn't be back yet but I am.
Pathetic performance both going forward and defensively.
Got some thoughts and may come off my long run later. One game and 42 more to come. It's a marathon not a sprint. Keeper worries me. He hasn't had anything to do yet. Wigan pressed high up and Bolton couldn't cope. A couple of long balls going no where set the tone for a poor performance. To coin a phrase. Not as good as one or two thought we are
It's a poor show but it's just one game.
We have some good teams to play soon so let's see how we cope or don't. We are nearing the end of the transfer window and Evatt should be looking at his targets. and getting some ink in his pen.
The highlights and what a mess as we were. Unacceptable from everybody.

To sum up, that was the worst defensive display for a long time. Not one of our players kept an eye on the scorer of their first goal and made it far too easy for him.
We gave them far too much space when defending. We just didn't cover all bases. Their defenders were far more organised than ours. We looked very poor after three games when Santos played like a hero it was down to almost zero.
The question I posted yesterday on the forum, is when is Toal due back? his recovery seems to be dragging on and I'm wondering if his injury is worse than we are led to believe.
I think that when we are playing decent teams, I would like to see four at the back to give us that extra security. We can probably cope with three at the back when we are playing the lower-placed teams.
Whatever happens, Evatt needs to sort this out.

More Ian Evatt “It really hurts I’ve learnt a lot,we need to improve to be better to compete this season. We have to make sure this result doesn’t define our season, that’s sounds crazy after 4 games when you’ve won 3 but we have to respond in the manner I know we’re capable of “

Avoided this thankfully. Stayed near the ground for a couple of hours after the game, safest place. Shows moving kick off to 12.30 made no difference.
Ian Evatt speaks after the game.

Such a pity the idiots never learn. They cause mayhem, innocents get in their way and suffer.
Tuesday and only just stopped sulking. One bit of news. Shrewsbury away on 16th September is postponed because of international call ups. No names specified by likely Charles and Toal for n.ireland, böðvarsson for Iceland, iredale for Australia and Ashworth for Wales u21.
Despite being sent to see the head mistress yesterday.
IE still hasn't improved his pr skills.
I read this article in the BN; Evatt is saying that the team aren't robust enough mentally to cope with physical teams. This is nothing new, perhaps when the work is done on selecting the type of players required to gain us promotion this should be considered.
It isn't a new problem and I have said previously that we need some muscle and steel in the squad. last season some of the players he signed on loan were too lightweight and unless the team show more steel and determination in their play, we are likely to become also rans once again.
However, there is another problem that needs addressing and that is Evatt's tactics. He doesn't have a plan B and continues with his pretty football when a more aggressive style is required which brings us back to the first problem, have we got the players to execute that type of game? It certainly doesn't look as if we have.
I hope that the squad prove me wrong, but I think we need to sign a couple of players that can remedy our deficiencies.

Not read any of the bn articles since Friday.
Is it 10 days left before the window closes.
There's not a whiff of any transfer gossip about.
Are we in for one of those years, when we wake up the morning after the window closes and find out what went through right at the death.
No transfer news for 1st team but in comes a keeper for the B team. Ex Crewe youngster. Expecting to see one of the other keepers out on loan most likely Hutchinson.
Speaking of the B team, they lost their first game of the season 2-0 vs Preston.
