Happy to be in front but that was a very soft penalty. Also Salah shouldn't be on pens

I disagree. Was a soft pen but a soft pen is still a pen. Would be a foul anywhere else on the pitch.

You can’t start Jota and Gakpo IMO. It should be either or.

Yep agree, that’s why a 6 is so important. Gives us the best from the new midfielders

I've got to defend Gakpo deep as I think he does a decent job. It's more the impact on Slob and AMA which is the issue. If he occasionally rotated in for one of those I'd be ok with that.

Fair. Gakpo's first touch is VERY good, it's his strength and he generally looks forward.

I'd have Nunez over Jota regardless though, he pull players everywhere. Not sure Klopp rates him when we're out of possession though, probably rightly so.

He looks class. Think he will be the best of our signings in the end.

Endo for Jota second half is the way to go. Then Nunez for Gakpo

Iffy half

Bit annoying every time he shoots its blocked Szoboszlai.

Got better as the half went on. Started so nervously and got punished by a good finish in an awful first 15.

Hopefully get an early third and settle down a bit.

Macallister nit really able to dictate. He really needs a dcm there so he can do his stuff

Hes never gonna dictate if we lump it long every time we have it.

Jota seemingly with the touch of Mason Greenwood today too.

Sometimes its just not your day....not jotas today.
