Onana was very good on the ball today.

AWB, Varane, Mount and Antony did well.

Apart from that, we were poor.

I felt sorry for Onana, he played an amazing pass first half out to the left and we should have made more of it. I honestly would get rid of our whole strikeforce and start again except Greenwood and our new striker.

I think we were good in the first half, but our lack of fitness (due to our misguided preseason tour) let us down again.

I think your fans have a right to be worried, you were awful today. What have you been doing all summer?

So United can't get a basic thing such as early season match fitness right? It's not like you had a poor season and had to do an entire rebuild. Something's gone wrong hasn't it?

Whilst I agree with the sentiment there, don’t think there’s any need for this article, I think most sensible folks realise it’s only game day 2.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The problem is that this board is plagued by an incredible number of insensible fans.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a few, granted
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some of them want Onana to fail, others have already written off Mount. Not to mention those who are certain we haven’t improved under ETH.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not sure we have improved under ETH we gained top 4 because the quality of Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs declined not we had any massive improvement, we also lost a certain game 7-0 our worst defeat in over 100 years and shipped 6 at City.

I want ETH to succeed but this is a massive year for him to prove he is capable of doing the job, tactically I doubt him and we rarely improve or change tactics in the second half when games are going away from us.

Just my opinion, I go to OT all home games and have for many years and the pattern of play I am watching is static.

Rashford is not very good as a striker.

There are a lot of very unsensible followers having glanced the match day thread, this article is warranted.

We attempted over 1000 shots in the premierleague last season and scored 58 goals. 1st for attempted shots but scored so few goals. Ten Hag must be thinking this is the worst strikeforce he has seen in football. Our terrible away form against the big sides is also due to inept finishing.

Most teams who attempt over 1000 shots in the league score over 100 league goals.

They think because it happened last year and we managed to get back and have a good season, this is going to be case again this year. I am watching Newcastle now and we are not better than them. We are not better than Arsenal. A tough season coming for us.

Wolves battered 4-1 by Brighton, we limped to a win. We should be concerned.

Wolves actually were incredibly wasteful against Brighton.

We're going to get some absolute tonkings this season if we don't improve sharpish. Probably starting with Arsenal next away game.

Not really, Man Uniteds pre season tours have always been about money making and media exposure opportunities for the club and players. Not hard work as anybody who has played football at a decent level will tell you its all about. Also United pre season seems to be mainly for squad players who wont be starters . The regular PL match starters seem to drift into the programme, if at all, as the schedule progresses. Many doing a half here and there. Uniteds main pre season training is usually the first 3 or 4 PL games. Wolves was a joke. Today was better, Forest might turn out to be useful.

Always? You're sort of agreeing with me that you have a problem with your owners choosing commercial opportunities over title chances. Look at a decade ago when early season you battered us and then went on to get your 8-2 against Arsenal in the first few games of the season. Compare to a few seasons ago when we battered you 6-1 early. You seem to have accepted this as the new normal. I would have thought after that season you would have learned your lesson that these slow starts cost you dearly.
