Adams has just a five year contract with Bournemouth for 24million according to sky sports

Its on offical site.

Am just suprised, that Batty has said about Rogan after one game.

Better than white
Should be captain
Needs a six year contract
Should be given freedom of Leeds.

Cooper will be remembered as one of those players you refer to when we need a solid defender.

You know the sort, in 10 years time when we need a defender we will be on here saying - "what we need is a Cooper style defender in there to sort out the defense"

Many wanted a new captain not because theyd given up on Cooper or didn't rate him it was more the fact that he's injured all the time. And guess what hes injured again.

Cant understand the amount of abuse aimed at Liam Cooper.
Being injury prone is the last thing any footballer would wish for yet its used as an excuse to villify our captain.

1) I love Cooper. Always will. Great leader who
has captained and served this club with honour.
But, sadly just like Bamford, father time is
catching up to both in the form of injuries.

2) Love the story about Del Piero. Love it.

3) Adams would've been a great captain for us.
Hell, he's the captain of his national team.
And he should've had the #4 shirt rather than
the always injured Forshaw retaining it.

4) Just for LIW, Rodon is also captain material.
He's shown the required qualities many times
for his national side, a team I support and follow.

Whos vilifying him? I just said i rate him as a player and captain 🤷‍♂️

Hardly seen anyone abuse him on here. More on social media.

I’m baffled that even after those amazing 3 years with Bielsa that Liam Cooper still gets criticism.

He’s a good player and we missed him massively last season and are missing him now. Only issue is his injury problems

It was social media I was personally referring to. The folk on here are much better tuned in although a few get slightly carried away about players after just a couple of good/bad games

On balance, he's been a very good acquistion and showed real leadership.( barring the odd Coops calamity though.)

Was a good read about Del Piero.

Feel for Cooper. He's been so unlucky with injuries. His loyalty is right up there with every Leeds legend imo

Yes I feel for Coops, too. He’d run to hell and back for this club. Same goes for Ayling. Less sympathetic to Dallas tho - his mindless tackle caused his own injury and, I believe, one of the main factors in our relegation. Harsh, but true methinks.

The challenge with Grealish, I’ll have to look back at that, I thought it was innocuous at the time…just unfortunate. He’ll not be same after this long out.

You could lay part of the blame for Dallas' injury
at the feet of Marsch. He was preaching gung-ho
kamikaze play all season. It was out of character
for Dallas to go in on Grealish the way he did.

Must admit Batty I have had that thought many times on Dallas and glas someone else has voiced it. Think back to the straight reds James and Ayling got for rash challenges in the previous 2 games, out of character for them and certainly for Dallas.Almost as if some 'passion merchant' manager was telling them to put in huge challenges to somehow gain an advantage. Is that in the Red Bull playbook too.

What people forget with Coops is that players look good alongside him, player after, player after, player have improved alongside him, Bartley, Janson, White et al. All improved playing alongside the guy, no coincidence
