Pochettino is bog standard average. Amazed he gets so many jobs at the bigger clubs. Palace, Norwich or Bournemouth is his level.

Why dont you rage about Nuno, Mourinho and Conte, who were infinitely worse than Pochettino? Ah right, you blame their sheitness on Pochs signings. Such a transparant cvnt you are.
I've never really rated him personally but maybe he'll prove me wrong for the first time in his career.
I can't think of another manager where mediocrity is so celebrated.
He took a young Spurs side to 2nd 3rd in the league and a UCL final while being given peanuts to spend. That is far from mediocre.
What he is yet to prove is that he is actually capable of getting a bunch of individuals to play for him in a team not assembled by himself, like he had at PSG and now CFC.
As a coach he is very capable to get those willing to learn, listen and buy in to his methods to really deliver as a team. Is that possible at CFC? These players seem thrown together with little due diligence and still do not look well balanced. The talent is there but they need to start performing otherwise the pressure will snowball
Spurs route to the CL was jammy as hell. Battered in almost every knockout game but got lucky.
Yeah, he slightly exceeded expectations once when he put a Spurs side together. I feel he was incredibly lucky to have Kane come through and never really got over the line.
Decent job at Southampton. Bang average at best at PSG.

levelled response.
Lets be honest, we battered west ham first half and had the chance with a pen to go 2-1 up. Had another pen chalked off due to a marginal offside, and missed several chances.
If any of our players finished a chance this convo would all be moot.
His tactics at Spurs worked largely because of Kane and Son.
As much as everyone seems to like Jackson - because to be fair he looks like he's doing more than Chelsea's forwards did last year - he is no Harry Kane
I'd put it down to Chelsea being an absolute basket case.
Boehly will now be left looking for another 100m+ to buy whoever is trending on twitter this week.
Mitoma 125m bid incoming, if they throw in Cucurella they might even get him for 150m

Nah.
I've only caught the second half of yesterday's game this season, which I've been told is the worst we've played so far, and it was like going back to last season where Potterball was just starting to click before he got sacked. So he's already done what Potter needed approx 4-5 months to do, with similar disruptive injuries & an even more destabilized squad.
We'll see what happens but I'm confident we've got the right man.
I can't think of another manager where mediocrity is so celebrated.

What a bizarre comment. Assume it’s a wum but I’ll bite anyway…
Beat Dortmund 4-0 over two legs. Were under the pump in the first half in Germany but other than that it was pretty plain sailing. 4-0 is quite resounding I’m sure you’ll agree.
City - won a tight 1-0 at home. Lost 4-3 away but by no means battered. Most teams will be under the cosh at the Etihad. City got 99 points that season remember.
Ajax - lost 1-0 at home in a poor match. True they bottled it from being 2-0 but the goals we scored weren’t luck. Just one of those Roy of the Rovers performances from Moura.
We also were without Kane for 3/4 halves of the City tie and both of the Ajax games.

Agree there. It was the luckiest run to a CL Final ever. Spurs and Pochettino were lucky to get out of the group. Only the win over Dortmund was not laced with luck.
