I think the front line is a real problem. Seems like Ange wants proper touchline wingers in his system and a fox-in-the-box striker - and Spurs don't really have any of either. Solomon is the only winger who fits the bill and he's brand new and unproven.
Need Aaron Lennon back. Weirdly after being linked for so long under Conte with Adama Traore (who'd have been playing out of position at wing back) the setup at Spurs actually suits him quite well now. No idea who would work on the left considering Mitoma isn't affordable and Barnes has gone. Perisic has a good cross on him but he's just too slow.
I think Ange may be finding he needs to rethink his ideas for the #9 spot in the Premiership too. Don't think he can get away with having a poacher who's largely a passenger during open play, no matter how well it worked in Scotland.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So the answer to the touch line winger is Solomon. He just needs a chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Got to worth a try, play instead of Kulu, see if he can get balls into the box

No sense paying what they would want for him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet other teams are supposed to pay what Levy wants for our players ?????. Our scouting is pretty poor so until that's addressed, I don't really see any alternative to paying what Brighton want !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
sign who brighton will replace him with and sell for 200m 18 months from now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds great mate... Only problem is we clearly dont have the same level of quality scouting
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sarr, Udogie - we're having success buying these under the radar players.
look at the list of the 100m transfers - how many of those have worked out? 9 times out of 10 investing that much into one player just isn't worth it.

Very. You're one of these keyboard warriors. I'll leave you to your pathetic attempts to be offensive.
However for an adult conversation you'll find Mitoma whilst talented isn't the only top winger in international football. I understand if you're someone that only watches the prem but fortunately most scouts don't

I don't know if you ever watched Celtic under Ange, but Kyogo was his main #9 and that boy never stops moving. Ange's whole mantra is that everyone is active in play at all times and there are no passengers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe passenger was the wrong word, but my understanding is that Kyogo did a lot of pressing off the ball but had very little involvement in build-up play - is that not right?

He wouldn't come to the halfway line to pick up the ball, but he'd get involved in the link up in the final third and make all sorts of runs to pull the defence apart. That off-the-ball build up play especially can slip under the radar a bit.
I'd rather we spent good money on a CB right now. Get Orban Cookie Collective too.
Mitoma would be nice but very expensive and realistically we are quite well covered in midfield areas.
