It's no insult to Rashford. I'm too young to remember Giggs' debut season in any detail, but Greenwood was comfortably the most talented academy player I've seen break into our first team. Comfortably. Would've been a superstar if he'd put his mind to it.

Shame it's turned out like this, but it's for the best. For everyone's sake i genuinely hope he gets the help he clearly needs.

A move to Saudi would be surprising according to the BBC. Also, I had no idea the Saudis also have a women's league as well now.

Iike to point out misconceptions.

You claim Greenwood needs help, but those most informed on the matter dont believe he did anything beyond speaking to his girlfriend badly.

It's not a misconception to say I am absolutely sickened by what I heard on the audio. What are you talking about? I think anyone who does that needs help, regardless of context.

You dont, fine. But you've flogged this to it's absolute death now - give it a rest.

It all feels a bit hollow if I am honest. If he did it he could not and should not play anywhere imo and yet here we are our club has kicked him out... They are not going to play him again, pretty much seems as if the whole thing was, to some degree, made up and yet the club are still getting hammered by everyone. They could have done it better, but it's not like this happens every day, so here is to the court of public opinion, not allowing all facts to get in the way of an opinion and the default presumption of guilt. Here is to dropped charges being seem as being more damaging that something going to court and people having their say.

At the time of the scandal, if you could’ve said one player I didn’t want it to be, it was this guy.
