Where's the action part 79

As it stands at the moment , (caveat - might reassess September 2nd), I think we will be at least mid table but not much more.

On the above basis, as I have said previously, next summer is the real worry. Basically a bunch of 'want aways' who will deem themselves too good for the second tier.

The likes of Rodon will probably be back at his club having done well like Ben White.

I have began to think that we may be delving into the loan market over the next few days as until the 'Want aways' conundrum is solved, there'll be too many expensive contracts on the books.

Just wondering if the odd contract maybe mutually cancelled next year - possibility as the sums currently seem unhealthy?

I think with what we have at moment mid table would be an amazing achievement, we cant even fill a subs bench.

We have kicked a massive can down the road.

I cant remember a player who left us on loan and other club said yep, we'll take him permanently now.

The reality is the players we just loaned out were all over priced and not very good.

Why on earth did we give Llorente a longer contract?

We could have got 25 m for Harrison in Jan.

In April we gave him new contract, with the loan clause, it has 49ers fingerprints all over it, and now we get nothing for him.

It's incredibly inept management of the business.

We might think we're up sh creek right now, we're not, we're in ok waters, but we're heading towards it next summer, if we dont go up we're in serious trouble.

Now, if 49ers genuinely have money, then there is always an escape route. But I haven't seen evidence that they have, they've had to attract all sorts of minor sports people to invest in this and they're headed by a man who is more focused on money than success on pitch.

Fans have been brilliant so far, but buying them a pint in peacock is a publicity stunt, without real action, the mood will change quickly and momentum is a big thing.

Our momentum last 18 months has been downward and that has continued this season, if something doesn't break that then I predict we are going to drop another division this season or next.

None of us want that, but something needs to change right now.

Feels like we're going to leave it all until the final week if the window. Just hope Piroe and Paintsil aren't the latest reruns of Che Adams and Dan James.

Disappointed we didn't get a lot more business done before the season started as we aint ready and have already dropped a lot of points, especially against 2 of the supposed weaker sides in Cardiff and Birmingham.

The league is utter garbage this year, half of teams struggling for any money.

Yet we’ve gave our massive advantage away.

Terrible ownership

Should have qualified that I have based my league position on both Cry and Gnonto being back in the team, or sold for at least half decent bucks, and at least a few loan deals done by next week, and the fact the bench can't remain threadbare, that would be complete madness.

Hang on a minute this is Leeds United we're talking about.

I think everyone who had optimistic predictions were hoping Adams, Summerville, Gnonto, Harrison, Wober would be part of the equation.

Tick tick tick, churchbells sounding and tumbleweed blowing across Elland Road is the scene at moment.

C'mon guys, cheer up ffs. Joel Piroe signing is just around the corner and maybe a stackful. I may be a cock-eyed optimist but hey, life's too short!

Ha ha maybe I was a bit premature. Get Piroe and his agent in building with thick walls and no phone reception.

Well it looks like Summerville, Gnonto and Sinistera are all staying. Get these other two over the line and maybe Kamara and it’s a decent window.

the players staying now doesnt make it a decent window after we've lost so many for nothing, that's likes saying Forshaw is like a new signing, its the reinforcements that we desperately need that make or break this window.
