Jack Harrison is probably thinking, he will return to play in the Premier League with Leeds, having saved the club his wages during the time Leeds will be in the Championship.

^^^

I personally don't want to see Harrison in a Leeds
shirt again. Thanks for everything. But, you made
your choice. Good luck to you. Bye. Cheerio.

Hell of a signing, great that it's been confirmed and I didn't want to get my hopes up till it was confirmed.

I'm really, really happy with our work bringing in players, the contracts for those who have left on loan has been a joke, however the players we have brought in have all looked good from what I've seen.

Byram has made left back his own, Roben looks a solid centre back, ampadu looks solid as hell and now we sign probably one of the best options out there.

The difference between these signings and Marsch signings to me is pretty clear.

His signings seemed to be ones that would get us on TV in America or ones JM had worked with in the past.

Farke is out there signing players who have proved their worth in the English game, even Byram who is probably the closest to being a "jobs for old boys" signing has been a good one as it's clear that he was signed cause Farke knew he was what he needed.

Also, after JM, who just spoke like a mid witted middle manager, speaking permanently in silly clichés, to Farke who speaks so well, it's a good dang delight

Serious question Batty

Have you caught your lass playing with herself, while looking at a pic of bamford 🤣

Would love Farke to not only be successful at Leeds and fingers crossed get us promoted this season but then given the tools to establish us in the Premier league to the dizzy heights of about 12th and then eventually even climb to the Europa league positions that the likes of Villa and Brighton have managed to achieve with sensible and shrewd ownership.....I know it's early days but the 49ers for all my reservations must surely look at those clubs as models to aspire to and think they can easily match them within 5 years.

Piroe goals. Lots of variety. Calmness in front of goal.

Opta posted a neat stat on Piroe.

Since his debut in 2021, he's the only player to score 10+ goals on each foot (26 left / 13 right) Scored 2 headers also. His first 6 of 2023 were on his right, his last 5 all on his left.

Ambidextrous and some

For me striker was acid test of whether or not 49ers are backing Farke with so many strikers already on the books and this feels like the right type of player we need.

Let's hope no fitness issues that we seem plagued by.

It has taken some weeks though, so not the quiet, behind the scenes business, but that's more to do with rabid clickbait interest in alll things Leeds.

Bamford can be a good mentor here and it also takes pressure off him (one hopes fans cut him some slack) and it also takes pressure off Gelhardt and Rutter.

But this mustn't stop here, Farke has been clear we need strengthening in all positions.

Don't let Drameh or Meslier go, get that creative midfielder we've been missing since Pablo and keep Sinisterra, Summerville and Gnonto firing on all cylinders and then we have chance to be top half, but this squad is still too thin for 46 game season at present.

What could make all teh difference?

If Gyabi could start adding some value.

He's been here a year now and dropping down a division isn't going to get a better chance at Leeds to show his worth.

Anyway, really good news for us, hoping Piroe can be in the mix for Ipswich.

Was just wondering, now that we are going to have a proper striker up front, whether we willl now get to see a "new' Rutter, as I keep hearing his best position and strengths are much more on the R.H.S.

Thanks for posting that Salonica. He can take penalties too - TFFT! He looks lethal.
